[b]Seti (OOC: After this point I had planned on the scene ending. So let me know if you have anything else you want to absolve or do rp wise.) Not off the top of my head. I think Starship and I need to talk about Real Estate, but other than that, I'm okay with the scene ending. |

Silk can now walk away with the car at least...are we going to skip ahead in time or should I make efforts to try and 'accidentally' meet the other runners? With my drones in the building to record the events of last night there's a chance Silk could 'bump in to them' while retrieving the drones...?!?

Aria: There's a surprise waiting for you on one of your drones. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) If you'd like I can just narrate the whole scene and then we can get this ended, advanced, and move on.

I'm currently thinking that Dahlia will be looking closest at places in the University District or International District downtown. No doubt, she'll harangue Seti into coming with her, if only to make Asim feel more secure.

Sneaking to the truck:
Agility 3 + Infiltration 2 = 5d6.hits(5)=2 - not bad for 5 dice. |

I'd like to throw my hat in the ring.
I'm sure I'll have to change some things up but here is a character I was playing and the game went TU. Ariel Juagahan "Mandirigma Makata or Makata" Former FBI ERT now a Docwagon HTRT Officer (Street Sam type) Quote: "Lead with speed, devour with power." [ Spoiler ] Thanks, Brent **Updated to the 400 bp standard** |

Hey BM. Thanks for your interest. The character concept looks fine but you will need to trim some points off. We use a 400 BP spread for starting characters. If you want to do some trimming we can see about getting you involved.

Aria: My original plan to get you all together would have taken longer. I went ahead and opted to just go this route as it seemed like something you were trying to get to. It was an assumption based on the number of times you brought it up. So provided you guys don't end up killing each other this should lay a good framework.
Everyone else: Dongs. That is all. |

All: I updated the Karma/Resources pool. The reward includes a bonus two week bump of 2 karma and 5000 nuyen for the month or so that I was AWOL. I figure it's a fair trade off for you guys since I know most of you would have been here PROVIDED THEY DIDNT END UP IN THE HOSPITAL AGAIN ASFA. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)
(J.Packer: You received the bonus two weeks as well even though you hadn't started yet. It wasn't your fault my hard drive sucked balls in a less than pleasurable fashion.) Anywho, before I disappeared in December I was discussing a system to make high nuyen items available to players over a long period of time. Due to the slow nature of the game and accruing of phat lewt, the typical system does not work as well. The idea I was kicking around before was to allow players to purchase one high dollar item at significant discount provided they posted at least three weeks of that month. The item will be of normal quality expected as if one had purchased it from the book. I haven't set a percent but it's going to be somewhere in the neighborhood of 10-25% of the original cost. As it stands, these are the pros and cons as I see them. J. Packer and bmcoomes would not be eligible as new players for January, but it doesn't matter anyways since they're both essentially broke. Scroo yoo doods. Next month, you will be. Pro: *allows players access to high quality gear or enhancement that would otherwise take 2 years of game play to afford. *encourages activity through regular posting. Like Karma/Nuyen rewards, they will be given out based on activity. So if you are running a scene or a game, you will still be eligible so long as you meet the post requirement. (Example: Myself. I haven't made a post as a character for months. But I still award myself the Karma/Nuyen bonus because I have been actively participating by running the game we're currently involved in. In this case, I would still count myself eligible for a discounted item (which in turn would be clearly, publicly documented including discount given.)) *allows some flexibility for RL. There are some things I won't necessary worry about in this regard. Like, real life circumstances that prevent you from posting. ASFA being laid up, Notsoevil finally getting busted for that donkey show he holds in his living room, and things like holidays when its a bit harder for some to post. *encourages newer players to get involved and stay involved for additional character improvement. Cons: *Your mother. Actually I couldn't think of any. This seemed like the most fair way to meet the goals of the players in a reasonable fashion, meet my goals of keeping the game active, and still have time to watch Notsoevil's live video feed. That being said; no one seemed to object the last time I proposed this. So if you have a request to make, do so. The cut off date for this month's requests will be January 31st. Frankly, if you can't decide in 7 days then tough shit for you imo! *********** bmcoomes: I went ahead and added your updated character to our database. Before I work on just integrating you into my plot, there anyone out there that wants to run a scene? *********** Aria, ASFA, SSS: I'm going to warn you guys ahead of time, because its generally something I don't like. I prefer my campaigns and stories to make total sense in the context that they should. That being said, you all have very unique character angles that makes it fairly difficult to get you all in a run that will speak to your abilities. The next wing of my plot-line, I have decided to set it aside for further core character development. I'll be involving each of you in jobs that speak to your character. ASFA and SSS I can justify as they would have had intelligence gathered on them by Mr. J's associates for ensuring the safety of his employee across the hall. Aria; deus ex machina. Close your eyes, stick your fingers in your ears, and just fudge some time k thx. *********** All: By the way, I'm so proud of you guys. You managed to turn a simple meeting into a three-way riot/gang war in addition to eliminating the contacts that were supposed to get you involved in the next wing of the game. And I'm not being sarcastic. I love it when my players' choices take my plot in directions I hadn't anticipated or considered. I look forward to further insanity out of you guys. @ASFA: The drone is one of the MK Centipedes so I'm guessing about 5cm in length, maybe less? Not quite sure on micro drone sizes...

I'm thinking of rolling a character, looking at a rigger, or possibly a face, since that seems lacking. How are we doing on mages at the moment? I like to plays character that are in demand.
