however what really blew my mind, and made me think about SR, was the mentioned atomic force microscope on a chip possibility. that is, making a atomic force microscope that can be made in bulk, much like one make microchips today. if they pull it off, it would not surprise me if someone uses it to make some kind of nano-assembler. tho it could also result in sensor gloves (or anything similar) that need no recalibration. |
