Heh, apparently not too much since he's asking us if we know anything. I'm sorry I don't have anything else to add.

Lurking for anything about more details on Aztlan and Texas, I have found a few things.

a few years ago on Dumpshock there was talk about making a Texas Netbook for Shadowrun, with real Texans spearheading the effort.

I have collected some good information but I was trying to see if anyone actually when though with it.

If you want I can post some of the info that I have collected.

Got a link or anything? Knowing who you're talking about might help.

Probably referring to Patrick Goodman's non-canon stuff. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

edit: tho it appears there is not much posted on his site right now.

I'll try to work on that in my copious unstructured free time.

If it was mine, I've still got all my notes and the early draft, but it's distinctly out of date at this point. Personally, I'm more interested in doing a write-up solely on Austin, but I'll have to wait for War to find out what happens to the Azzies and if they're ever kicked out of my damn neighborhood (I live a couple of miles south of the river in Austin...seriously, walking distance between Aztlan and CAS for me). Plus I'm curious to reimagine Sixth Street/Warehouse District and all the new condo builds, the university, the hospital, and all that stuff with a border to a hostile nation in stone's throwing distance from most (personally, I see Casino el Camino becoming a favorite runner hangout).

I feel that same way about a distinct lack of Houston (the 4th largest city in the USA) in any Shadowrun sources.

With the earthquake and tsunami in the Yucatan, I feel that Galveston, Corpus Christi, and Houston would all be affected by massive floods. Think Houston turning into a New Orleans during Katrina.

And then there is San Antonio, the Texas border town turned Azzie border town. So much runner potential its retarded.

Let me know if you want to get together to do some work. I am down for this. I even have started collecting intel as to how the Assies could have pushed so far into Texas in the 1st place.
