Adding a Delta clinic, Develop the campaign(s) needed to add the delta clinic Options

A delta level clinic does have its own 'concerns'. Consider that for a Runner, even picking a 'lowly' street doc is a serious consideration. If you can't afford to have buddies riding shotgun in the room while the street doc does their thing, you have to entirely trust that the doc isn't going to put you under, carve you up and sell the pieces to Tamanous. On the higher end, the concern becomes..well..potentially the same...but also things like "What else are they putting into your body when they add that new set of delta wires?"

Depending on who's backing the clinic's operations, you can end up with some quiet corp additions, or you may wake up to find yourself in prison cause it turns out the clinic was being funded by a corp you screwed with awhile back. Same goes with criminal backed operations, depending on if you've pissed them off before (even unknowingly) you may wake up in trouble, or not wake up at all.

So, for a runner, the best fit would be along the lines of:

1)A clinic that either offers in part, or whole spectrum, delta level services.
2)A clinic that has a 'flexible' system enough that they don't really who they work on as long as they can pay
3)A clinic that isn't also in the pocket of some potentially troublesome backer
4)A clinic that won't act like a chopshop, where you can trust you'll actually wake up. Note that a clinic's reputation has absolutely nothing to do with this factor. A clinic might have a rep of being a sterling awesome place, but still secretly farm your body parts cause they can hide behind their own PR and reputation.
5)Kinda related to 2, a clinic that has a flexible view on fake SINs.

So some sorta 'shadow delta clinic' would be a best hope, but backing has to come from somewhere. Either the clinic also does alot of legitimate business, or is a haven for criminals/terrorists/etc, but that brings its own baggage as well.

Nope it is current and in the Caribbean League, i edited the information from 6WA page 171 in my early post.

I saw that afterward. Does it talk about how big Johns Hopkins is? Does it have room for my second scenario, some expansion into other areas? Of course a largely independent Johns Hopkins [that's willing to dabble is some freaky stuff] makes the way forward obvious! Fledgling Delta Clinic on the new Johns Hopkins Institute of Health campus, rather than internal use it's almost exclusively for outside sales. They are small so they are scrambling for help in staff recruiting, [five-fingered] R&D, rare specialized equipment procurement, protection from established Delta Clinics willing to use Plow King competitive techniques, etc.

The campaign is now a Back To School Special.


EDIT: And yes, after the PCs establish a relationship with JH they could negotiate surgery work/implants as payment for jobs. Maybe even get some of it done up front if it's a specialized implant called for in the up coming job.

Platinum: Can you supply a different theme to get the players interest there? I am looking more for a place that will also include allot of gaming to introduce....Giving the players the cash needed to take advantage of the clinic and creating a enemy that will require that level of tech for some future adventures.

1 Mercenaries in a corporate war
2 Have corporate sponsors to sabotage targets/ factories, kidnap a special scientist with insider knowledge
3 Are down there to buy some major arsenal or do a pickup
4 The mage/shaman has to go down there because of a vision or needs some special reagent / spell formula
5 A target is down there on vacation and will be the best time to get him/her because their security contingent is halved
6 Mob/Yak contacts are sending them down there to destroy a drug plant of a rival syndicate
7 There is some new tech/magic/ gear coming out of a facility there, and someone wants it
8 Someone's mother was vacationing/visiting and is being held against their will
