And yet hasn't. Left that bad a taste in your mouth, eh AH?

He probably was worried the list would exceed the storage capacity of the website. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Okay possible fix/question. Would making the Aneki Corporation from the snes game a shell company for Renraku work? It seems like it was named after Inazo Aneki, so maybe it could fit.

Also, how about Jake, the main character, from the Snes game? He's heavily cybered, yet can still cast magic and the dog spirit is his totem. Are there any other examples of characters like Jake in the canon?

Not in any major way. EVE is a perfect example of stepping outside the normal box. Shadowrun 4e would have to take the skill caps off and have prebuild base characters but otherwise you could have an MMO without any problems. Each mission is worth X karma and Xk nuyen based on difficulty. Sometimes you would get something high tech or magic item from a run rather than cash. Dungeons are office buildings where you must avoid security guards and drones, stealth over combat. It would be more like playing rainbow six or splinter cell than WOW.

I wish I could remember how many times I've posted my vision of the perfect Shadowrun game. It would combine elements of Thief: The Dark Project (stealth), Deus Ex(Cyber, skill system), Rainbow Six 3: Raven Shield(combat, firearms realism), and Bioshock (magic).

Or just do it like KoTOR, that could work too.

I don't remember any cyberheart in the Genesis version, what is it? And besides, couldn't you just retcon it into a synthacardium?

I don't remember any cyberheart in the Genesis version, what is it?

Optional adventure where you have to save your Brother's Chummer who has been shot up so full of holes that it took magic just to keep him stable.

Unfortunetly, one bullet went into his heart, and you need a replacement. Not wanting to do the squick-tacular thing of just shooting someone for their heart, Sega put in the CyberHeart that you have to steal the prototype from one of the Megas.

They also renamed a Sony Cyberdeck a Sega. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/nyahnyah.gif)
