Hi there,
Over on Shadowrun 4 forums there's four of us who don't have a GM who has enough time to run a game for all of us. Since those forums are really new, I thought maybe we could find someone over here who'd be willing to take over. We'd really appreciate it. Heres the current thread: http://forums.shadowrun4.com/index.php?top...msg2102#msg2102 We are in the process of making our characters, but this is what I know about what people are making: An Elven breaking and entering specialist. A Goblin sprawl ganger type. An Ork hacker. A Human street samurai-ish type with middle rank face and medic skills to fill those gaps. (Me) Right now everyone is making their character with the standard 400BP. This post has been edited by -DC-: Sep 10 2010, 01:52 PM |

Sorry to double post. I just wanted to add that we could come over here to play. We'll go wherever.

*eyebrow* He's wiling to run a PbP for 3, but not 4?
That seems strange. It wouldn't be that much more work, if anything. |

Well he's busy in RL and running another game with three or four people in it. And really he only wanted two for ours. Three was the max. Anyways it's not important. What is important is that we really need a GM. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I can't speak for the community, but my impression has always been that there are more players seeking games on Dumpshock than GMs seeking players. When a new recruitment thread goes up, it usually gets more interest than the game can support in less than 24 hours. I *have* seen requests like this work in the past, though, so I don't mean to discourage you - but since you're new here, I thought I might set your expectations accordingly. I've never played 3rd and don't have the books. And everyone has made their character with 4th rules. I appreciate the offer though.
Yeah, I don't know if we'll be able to find one. I guess we'll see. I've been keeping my eyes open for run we could join too. This post has been edited by -DC-: Sep 10 2010, 08:52 PM |
