Redjack, am I still considered in waiting or considered added to the new characters?
You are still on the waiting list, but I am willing to continue to talk through concept/adv concept/etc so that you are closer to joining when a slot opens up.

Hah, anything specific? Looks like you have 3 mages and 2 tech heads. So what, another tech person, or a face, or B&E? I know you said combat monkeys will be bored fast.

Just to be clear: All characters should be combat capable, but those whose only area is combat should have other areas of expertise.

A well connected former ganger would be a good concept. A former bodyguard with a good base of contacts would also make for a good character. Either of those could be physical adepts or light/moderate cyber. The theme here being that in a pbp, you get much more interaction with a strong base of contacts.

NOTE: I play contacts according to their loyalty ratings as well as their connection rating.
- L1 = Welcome back. What sell do for you today sir?
- L2 = Welcome back Mr Johnson. What are you in the market for today?
- L3 = Morning Mr Johnson. Your usual?
- L4 = What's going on? Say, I have some limited edition product I want to give you first crack at. Interested?
- L5 = Your new team mate looks like Joe Smith. From High school/college/etc, remember?
- L6 = To the ends of the Earth, bro.

You will really have to sell me on any contact that costs more that 8bp. (ergo. Why would a low end shadowrun have any real loyalty from a top Mob Boss (c6) or nation-wide fixer (c5)? )

Spell Choices
This is for a B&E specialist working with a partner to handle the hardware.
Can shape change to get almost any where it magic fingers to carry the gear.

She has spirits that can give her Silence, Influence, Concealment, Control Animal, and the like.

Any thought or suggestions?
Inorganic Shatter Ball is a Power Ball spell that doesn't effect organic material (or cyberware).
Great spell to follow up with Orgy but that isn't her style.

Spell Name Drain
Stunball (Direct) (F÷2)+1
[Inorganic Shatter Ball as Power Ball] (Custom 3) (F÷2)+3

Current cast of all active games:

Puyallups IV
Jazz - Young human woman in her mid20's with ash-blond, shoulder length hair atop a slender body capped with a southern drawl. Outgoing and a smooth talker team mates soon learn she is even a better code slinger than face.
Jake - An averagely looking man, with neatly combed hair and aristocratic attitude, high set cheekbones and pale blue eyes. He doesn't like to be touched or go with crowds. Surgical gloves and a respirator are part of his standard look. Team mates will learn he is their drone-rigger.

Puyallups II
Aeryn - An attractive elven woman in her late twenties. She is a little below average height for an elf with a willowy figure. Her waist-length raven-black hair is worn open, with a few shorter strands framing her face. Team mates will learn she is a well connected smuggler and rigger.
Cynic - A hard life kid barely college age, Cynic is cocky and full of himself. The only reason he's probably still alive or not in a street gang is his ability to sling mana.
Lynx - A beautiful young woman of Latino heritage, with her short hair dyed platinum-blonde. She always wears a headband and usually wears the styles of the latest Hong Kong action trid stars. Team mates will learn that she is a face who fights like a street samurai.
Zion - Male, elven street samurai with dermal armor, he keeps his hair cut short and carries himself with a former military bearing. Despite that he is reasonably outgoing and friendly.
Papa Smurf - NPC Hacker. Part time to the team he currently has only been available remotely.

Barrens
Val - A Russian street samurai with no memory of his past and a knowledge of medical/cyber technology/procedures that rivals most street docs.
Hawk - A former military street samurai who wishes he couldn't remember his past.
Ghost - A down on his luck mage/shaman trying to escape his past.
Athena - NPC Hacker. Her persona is that of Athena, greek goddess of wisdom and battle. Her agents usually take the form of owls and the team has not met her in the flesh.

Figured I'd give a quick blurb here about my non-mage concept since you're recommending that. Sent you a more detailed character concept/back story. If you like it, can flesh it out some more and send a character sheet along with.

Jenny Midnight - Japanese female elven social/stealth adept
Little is known of the woman who calls herself Jenny Midnight. She has made a reputation as being very skilled at infiltration, both social and physical, but she has a darker reputation as well. Many who speak of her say that Jenny Midnight is merely the name she goes by when off duty, and that her true identity is the woman known only as the Black Rose, a Yakuza assassin sent out for when a message needs to be sent in the most brutal way possible.

Atomic Communist

Daniel Parker: B&E Specialist

What is his street name?

Better come up with one or we will (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Also Kit is good with the spells and spirits.
Can use spirits for Silence, Control Animals, Concealment, Mystic Guard, and so on.
Not combat heavy but has a Sleep (stunball) and Shatter Inorganic (Powerball vs Inorganic only) so she can take care of her self.
Can use Shapechange to get in to places.

She has a Perception dice roll of 16
Can also Assense with 11 dice.

Will usually stay in animal form and use magic fingers.

No so good with the hardware but with a partner.....

Want to coordinate gear and work out a few techniques/

I was thinking he might just go with a first name. Like Danny. I dunno. Never was good at street names.

Why I don't know what you are implying here.
Just because Daniel is an expert at getting the rear entrance open....

But first rule for street handles is to not use any part of your real name in it (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) .
It is bad luck.

As to the other.

Know that one. Frack me but Drek is good enough for me.

No need to go retro with words from fifty years ago that you don't want to explain to the little ones.

That is why I run my game old school in 2056.
Ran a 10 year campaign with 1st through 3rd and decided to get back in when I saw 4th.
But I wanted a second bite at the apple for the classics.
Harlequin has to be one of the top five RPG adventures ever.

The rest of you may need to give me a heads up because I'm not that familiar with the nano and gene tech.

I agree with RJ not that my daughter is in any way able to read yet i would like to keep the game Dialogue clean in a sense that i am not pron to a lot of four language or sexual innuendo's that are aparantly inappropriate or vulgar in nature.
