Revan listen to Kit hoping a solution would present it self. <@Team[Revan]"We have to take the product someplace. it is only food so we can drop it off at the first abandoned facility and let teh squatters eat for the night. We have till tomorrow night to figure this out, I will recon tonight a couple of trips before close shouldnt bring to much attention. If we are found out at all remember we are done for. So we will need those close and a reason to be next to the building after close in a AA area. If we could falsify any documets to ensure we are supposed to be there that would be our best bet. Figuring out the locks and bypassing security alarms without being noticed will be the biggest obstacle."> He wished he knew some spells that would benefit getting inside places.

And we could take it for a joy ride if we needed to get out of there fast. An inflatable could work to get us there. We just need to pick one where the owner is absent but not so absent that it would attract attention that someone was actually using the boat. For Jake, Revan & Kit, the night didn't last much longer. Some personal time before they found there way back to beds in various locations. Jake to his hermetically sealed house, Revan to his apartment and Kit to her Loveland safe house.

For Jazz, it was quite a bit different. She made her way to a short nap, but sleep never came; Too much anticipation for the job ahead. At 2:01am, she connected to the nearby coffee shop's node. From there, she connected to a traffic light control node on the southern outskirts of Chicago before routing through the library in Painswick, England before coming back to Quiky Mart on North 145th Street in the Bitter Lake Neighborhood of the Downtown District. From there, she then accesses the McCormick & Schmicks node.

The sculpting of the node is not unexpected: The floors are marble and the walls two-tone gentle off-white and dark brown. Everything is clean and sanitary. A receptionist (analyze quickly returns IC) greets Jazz as she enters from behind a podium. A couch and a large potted palm tree sit in the spacious lobby. A door and a hallway both allow deeper access.

The receptionist greets Jazz as a system admin with a smile. Jazz's inquiry as to the security office causes the receptionist to tip the palm revealing a small hole. In violation of real world physics, Jazz steps over and is sucked into the hole.

A microsecond later she finds herself in the security node. A six-armed, two-headed security officer is checking systems and watching displays. One of his heads turn and an wide infrared beam scans Jazz from top to bottom. Satisfied with the response, it turns back to its tasks.

Jake made his rounds picking up the team members for the onsite scouting. Kit had made reservations for her and Revan for dinner. The trip out of the Puyallups and across Seattle was mostly uneventful; Jake had been concerned when a group a go-gangers raced up on them on I-5 near Beacon Hill, but the group seemed uninterested in the runner's van this evening.

Jake parks up the street, deploying his net of fly-spy drones and settling back for a bit of quiet, personal time in his nice, sealed van. As the trio of drones lazily spread out into the area, Jake become acutely aware of the next thing he needs to spend his meager savings on: Low-light upgrades.

The restaurant had a reasonable crowd for a Thursday night and is about 3/4 full when Revan and Kit enter. Inside, a hostess promptly shows them to a booth overlooking the bay. The table clothes are real cloth and the silverware all straight and made of metal. The air carries a hint of the fine cuisine to be had, making them both very hungry. The water glasses are stemmed and clean with clear water and ice cubes. As a pretty, young elven woman comes to take their order, she pauses a moment noticing Kit's uniquely shaped eyes before speaking. "Welcome to McCormick and Schmicks. My name is Jenifer and I will be your waitress for the evening. Can I interest you in the wine list and an appetizer?"

Jazz only watches for now. She takes a peek at the various displays the IC is overseeing, to learn what kind of surveillance they have in here.

Running a few system checks, the hacker tries to get a list of possible intrusion countermeasures available from this node, and whether there might be more, similar, nodes like this one in the system.

Scanning the node, Jazz sees that the security guard is in fact an Intrusion Countermeasure program: I.C. Continuing to look around the node, she takes note of the firewall program reporting status and an analyze program sifting through the results, presenting a much smaller stream of data that one of the IC's heads watches, absorbing. The cameras cover all four angles outside of the building, an extra one on the docks, three in the dining rooms, one in the kitchen and a final in a business office.

Jazz takes notes about the cameras and which would be necessary to tinker with, depending on where they are going in. She isn't here to do any of that, however, yet. That is reserved for the coming day. Only scouting for now.

Revan looked over the menu "yes lets start with a bottle of the Huet Le Haut-Lieu Vouvray and ill have tonights special. Dear what would you like?" looking at Kit and smiling to seem like a normal couple and not wanting to attract to much attention he checked out the inside of the restaurant for anything awakened like barriers watchers and such while giving kit time to order he also went about looking for any magical support that might be sitting in the area ready for action if needed.

Neimand sipped the strong German ale while Burkhard bounced the scrawny young human the last few feet through the door to the street following up with a "Don't you bring your kümmerlicher arsch here again!" The whole incident barely missed a pair of moderately attractive middle-aged human women attempting to come through the door, into the bar. The punk had gotten mouth with Mindy, the bartender of the evening.

Turning back to look at his tankard, the young mage reflected on the scene. Looking around the bar, he realized he'd been in Seattle for two full months tonight; a longer stop than an of the previous four cities. Fact of the matter is that his travel money was really pretty much gone. He'd gotten by putting up wards for his landlord, trying to balance the need earn enough to live and send money for his brother's care against the fact that a practitioner of his stature was enough to draw unwanted attention if it spread too far.

He knew it when it started to go down. The pair of orks entered the bar a moment after the women. The duo immediately split, moving around the room. Burkhard turned to them, his senses honed by a year as a bouncer sensing trouble.

Jazz looks intently at the data streaming the security guard is partially focusing on. The data contains sensor readings from several areas of the hotel: vibration sensor on the ventilation system, open/close sensors on all of the doors, people captured moving about their business on the video cameras, smoke detection systems, carbon-monoxide sensors, temperature sensors on the various refrigeration and freezer units. All that data being continually checked against baseline metrics and allowable deviance levels.

Jazz adds the sensors to her list of notes, which would require some additional tampering. Doors, ventilation, and possibly the fridge, depending on where the package is going to be placed.

Having found what she was looking for, Jazz follows the datastream to see, if she can reach the sensors from here.

Then she creates a hidden account with full administration privileges for herself to be used on the next day (the plan being to create another, legitimate, account after accessing the system again).

When this is done, Jazz removes the traces she has left during her actions in the system from the system's log and logs off.
