AFAIK Alamais has been keeping a low profile since his near-death experience some time back (coming on 20 years now, wow). He had been using the [grammatically challenged] Der Nachtmachen as a front, for messing with Samantha Villiers for reasons I don't recall, and forgot to not be there when Der Nachtmachen's front door was kicked in.

So what's come out of these two since then, other than Alamais' confirmed continued existence in Dot6W? Is Der Nachtmachen basically defunct?

Der Nachtmachen is. Alamais himself is about as much after his failed attempt to steal the Jewel of Memory.
