As I recall, there are already people using Madden to predict the winners of the football thing, and actually finding it to be highly accurate.
Remind me when I make a successful game to immediately release a sequel that has no changes at all, just to see how many people buy it. |

Or better still release a sequel that is actually the first game, but "fixed".

Or better still release a sequel that is actually the first game, but "fixed". You know, a fan release did that with Fallout 2. No Mutants Allowed should still have the files. It put in everything the original version was supposed to have, and IIRC it nearly tripled the size of the game. |

I'm using the 'reinforced chinese stealth suit' mod, i find it to be the best looking armor in the game. Okay, I just got this and it looks really cool. http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=35130 -k |

I'll have to pick it up, along with some of the other armor reskins. I'm not impressed with how the reinforced combat armor mkII looks. Reinforced leather, on the other hand, looks pretty damn good.

I believe I used the DC emergency radio extender, which was also compatible with vegas. It may not have quite the same vegas vibe, but was a good mix of the Fallout 3 music genre, plus some fun emergency broadcast testing messages. Has its own dj too.

You know, the only other game that crashed this frequently for me was Invisible War, which my system had abundant resources to run. I basically got through that game by save monkeying. I wonder if there is something these 2 games have in common that could be the reason for all these crashes.

Eh, I've been getting intermittent crashes even on Windows 7.
I'll have to have some monitoring running in the background next game session to see if I can discern a cause. I just discovered the, er, cosmetic "body" mods for FO:NV. Some are... very interesting. -k |

WR, have you tried updating (or downgrading) your drivers? Your soundcard driver especially looks quite old. Your video card driver also is pretty dated. Honestly, I'd consider doing a full system tidy-up - HDD scan, virus scan, memory test, windows updates (including optional updates), driver updates, just because you should be doing that anyway, and it eliminates possibilities. Next to that? Try turning off unnecessary programs and devices.
It's a longshot, but I don't see anything inherently odd about the setup you posted (not that I'm an expert). |

what kind of interesting body mods are there? O.o I've seen quite a few mods that let you choose pretty much anything you want to play. People are putting elves, hobbits and other races in as playable by the Courier. Still others do remove the 3rd layer armor for 'realism' or creating one's own armor mesh, but on the upswing it does let one add visible tattoos to the body. There's a lot of armor and clothing additions as well as reskins for existing armor and even companions - though I haven't gotten that one to work yet. I just added a bunch of hair and eye packs to the game so I can choose styles that don't completely suck. I keep browsing the armor reskins to see if I can get a decent Combat Armor replacement, but haven't found anything I like yet. The trouble with some of these armor packs is that they're just adding more suits of armor to the game and it requires people to add shops/quests in order to access it - which reminds me, need to get the RCA mod so I can work those out. I've also seen mod packs that add 'not a Vault suit' for starter clothing, something that a Wastelander would actually wear. |
