Though it may not be saying much, Dead Money was easily the best DLC I have every experienced in regards to the Fallout universe.
The beginning was fantastic, the content itself was solid (even if those radios and speakers were annoying as shit) but the ending...I am so ready for the next sets of DLC because it answers so many questions. And running around with the .357 revolver and the Superheated Cosmic Knife was a great time. I look forward to using them in my misadventures in the Wasteland. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Speaking of DLC, it looks like they're taking what's left of Van Buren and sending us off to New Caanan in the next DLC release. "Getting in isn't the hard part....It's letting go." |

Pah - couldn't wait until I'd gotten back to New Vegas and FINALLY got some decent ammo for the BAR. (The automatic rifle)
Is it me, or does that thing not take handloads? No matter, the 50 cal and AP/Inc makes up for it. Pity the damn light machine gun is so inaccurate - the Bren isn't and that's what it's sorta based on. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/frown.gif) -Tir. |

And they weren't known for being the more accurate of weapons, as US Soldiers tended to strip the bipod from them and used them as a really big rifle. The Bren, on the other hand (Which had a top-loaded magazine, that's how you can tell the difference) was used with the bipod almost always and is part of where it gets it's reputation for accuracy. Also, take into consideration that both were Light Machine Guns of their day, and accuracy is not actually a "Good" thing in some ways. You want suppression of an area, not a fully-automatic sniper rifle. On the flip side, it made the Bren work great in it's Anti-Aircraft Role. |

I love the Holorifle with all the mods on it. Something satisfying about shooting it. The modded Holo is pretty nice. Disintigrates heads like a champ. I did like sneaking up on the Ghost People with a Superheated Cosmic Knife, though. One of my favorite melee weapons now, that. |

Canray - I know the "Automatic Rifle" is a BAR by any other name, the Light Machine Gun I was referring to was the one found in normal gameplay.
(notably the deathclaw quarry) LMG - Damn thing is less accurate than my Explosives 12 grenade toss. And it breaks down faster than a Freetown Mugger vs a Combat shotgun loaded with coin rounds. The holorifle - god, I babied that POS for the entire Dead Money expansion and I ended up emptying a BAR into Elder 'Zeke's head before even thinking of using it. Those clean cosmic knives were the business though - when I finally got enough components together to make a decent clean spear I thought, "the only way to make this less humane would be to make it radioactive or set it on fire." 40 minutes later... "Ok, you've got to be fucking KIDDING me!" -I was wondering if I should have said, "The only way this pack could have been improved was if naked body slaves showered money and ammo on me!?" -Yes, I liked dogma:) -Tir |

Well, Tir, they have to save something for the next DLC.
Eagerly awaiting it! |

Same here. I'm hoping that the Big Empty (Big MT Training Facility) is next then New Caanan and finally the Great Divide with the showdown against Ulyesses

I'm betting the showdown will be an epic game of Caravan!

Honest Hearts has been named as the next DLC and will involve New Caanan and Zion National Park.
The title, according to J.E. Sawyer, is a reference to Brigham Young. |
