Prayer of the roller boys, good inspiration? Options

I was watching that old corey haim movie prayer of the roller boys recently and I was thinking what a great shadowrun theme it would make. not because of the setting but more cause of the way the roller boys act. My group was always really patriotic so my players always spent most of their time working with a surviving new revolution cell. but anyway Picture this: The rollerboys rather than trying to spread hate are trying to start a new revolution and are working up support by running meals on wheels and handing out comic books to poor kids (the kind that can't afford comlinks to download comics obviously)...again maybe not so much the roller blades or the drugs but more the fanatical mentality trying to acheive a goal through propaganda. might be fun as allies or antagonists to your players or maybe a gimmigk for your players to get a little power for themselves.
