MSN article about a proto exo suit waldo leg thing

These kind of things most likely got left out of early shadowrun product because they were too 'Aliens'

We like our cyber but there is a big case to be made for technology progressing more along the lines the Heinlein or appleseed exo suit. But that goes against SR which is about self reliance.
