Still wondering how much we missed to end an HOUR ahead of time.
Glad we did - the run to the mall and back for eats for the 2PM game we had that was on the 2nd floor of the JW Marriot was fun. Could have eaten at Starbucks - but the need for Sushi was strong. |

Which module? I think i had a couple of tables that came in a half hour to an hour under time due to the PC's bypassing fights.

Hey folks, just poking my head in to say it was a blast running games for you fine folk. I'm not sure if I ran any other games for DSers but I know that I got Redjack and his crew and they did fantastic. I'll second this one - both tables I GM'ed played well, and everyone had fun, including me. I don't know if any DS folk were there: did anyone in this thread play "Ruthlessness" or "Do Fixers Make Housecalls?" (Thursday and Friday, respectively, at noon). |

And then there are the regrets. Like not asking the hot catalyst demo girl for her phone number. I'm sad.

Could have eaten at Starbucks - but the need for Sushi was strong. There was a combat that I didn't run that would have eaten up thirty minutes of that time. The last thirty minutes is usually set aside during Missions games to let the players take care of any downtime activities they want to do and need GM approval for. |

Didn't get a chance to post this earlier, but I got to play my first Shadowrun game at a convention this year. You really learn a lot about the rules (I did not KNOW Edge added the ENTIRE edge score. That was somehow missed in the last four years...).
Still wish my 11-year-old looking SURGE Technomancer could have piloted a giant robot. I was just gonna take it for a spin. Just a test drive for when I do get the money to illegally get one. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) |
