The dead-tree version is scheduled to be released this month but Red Brick has put out the PDF versions of their new Earthdawn setting piece, Cathay - The Five Kingdoms. Am I correct in assuming this is ED's answer to Kara-Tur or Rokugan? Does anyone have initial thoughts?

yeah, thanks for pointing that out. It looked promising, until I saw the play-by-post forum had the most recent post in 2009 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/frown.gif)

wait wait, there was a post that was on Dec 2010, pointing to another forum - looks good - thanks!
