I'm in New Orleans during Mardi Gras. The streets are packed with revelers. I'm in an elevated position in a quiet courtyard, with a suppressed rifle loaded with low-velocity ammunition. I snipe one of the targets as he stands on a balcony across the street smoking. I am immediately surrounded by police, the closest of whom was previously half a block away on a noisy, crowded street. Do they have spider-senses or what? Did the target have a biomonitor continuously broadcasting his vital signs to all nearby police officers? What, basically, the fuck?

I remember the map. Who are you trying to kill exactly, the boss or one of the raven lovers? The boss I killed planting explosives in his room entering the bookstore next to his headquarters. The raven assassin I killed with a garrote when he was by the window. Hope it helps.

I sniped the boss; the second time around, the cops did not magically know the second he died and that I had sniped him from the courtyard. I shot the woman in the back of the head as she entered the piano courtyard. Retrieving her walkie-talkie, I went to the blues club, disguised myself as a waiter, went upstairs, and shot the other raven as he stood looking out the window. Yeah, I know making it look like an accident gets me a higher rating, but I really like shooting people in the back with a suppressed pistol. I still had to get the diamond case from the assassins' safehouse, so I took the male raven's suit as a disguise, intending to walk through the streets to the safehouse and take the diamonds by subterfuge. This turned out to be a bad idea, because apparently women dressed in black bird suits are A-OK, but men dressed in black bird suits get shot by the cops the instant they set foot on the street.

Well, I follow the guy with the briefcase before he meets the girl. And take the girl in the alley where they meet, this way, I get the briefcase before it is sent to the boss HQ.

Oh, please. Like all the posts about explosives and hacking and dual-wielding machine pistols don't do that already. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/nyahnyah.gif)

Nah, those are considered harmless.
but things like assassinations, sniper rifles, politicians or cartel/gang bosses and the such mentioned in close proximity tend to set off all kinds of alarms.
the same with president, weapons of mass destruction, dirty bomb, biological / chemical weapon and the such ^^

From what I remember of the level, the police have a huge presence in the city. You're better off garroting the woman and tossing her in the dumpster before the cops come running. IIRC, I snuck up on the other guy and pushed him off the balcony, then set the bomb on the weak wall to get the third guy.

Now Imma have to download and play that again to remember how I did it. The most I can remember about Blood Money was my daughter sitting on my knee asking what I was doing to the yummy cake on the riverboat level.

(she still contends that it was so delicious, the fat captain took a nap)

Blood Money was, in my mind, easily the best of the Hitman games. I like the way you had money deducted from you for leaving behind evidence that needed to be cleaned up, bribing officials, etc. That and I enjoy the aspect of getting paid for my work, that aspect hadn't previously existed.

I completed the New Orleans mission, and with a Silent Assassin rating, too. I left my rifle case at the ICA dead drop. Then I followed and sedated the bagman (bagbird?) when he stopped to meet Angelina, stuffed him in a dumpster, and took the diamonds back to the dead drop and swapped them for my rifle. I shot Angelina in the back of the head as she entered the piano courtyard, sniped Purayah when he came out for a smoke, then went to the rock bar and shot Kurlinsky. I left the rifle at the dead drop and took the diamonds when I exfiltrated; the $5,000 weapon-retrieval fee was trivial.

Now I just need to figure out the porn magnate mission.

That mission would bug up for me sometimes. Guards going hostile at times when they shouldn't based on my outfit.

I was always a big fan of the inpatient rehab clinic.
