Anyone know the name of the font used on the SPINES of the 3rd edition books? It looks a bit like Empire State Font but that one comes with a built in border.
I'm looking for the actual font used on the back of the 3rd edition books, Shadows of Asia, Year of the comet, Stare of the art 2063 and 2064, ect. Any help would be appreciated. |

This seems like something Adam Jury might know. You could PM him, but if you get a response you should post it here as well, mostly because I'm curious.

It looks like it's just a condensed or horizontally compressed version of the book's regular title font.
Which is Friz Quadrata Bold if I remember correctly. -k |

It's "Like" this one http://www.fonts101.com/fonts/view/Display...te_Capital.aspx but with out the outline effect or the border on top and bottom. I looked through all 40,180 fonts on this site http://www.fonts101.com/ and it's not there. (( yep. looked through every one of them)) The closest I could find was the empire state one. "1979" looks close too but the letters aren't all right. |

Okay, I see, I was looking at the third edition Core Book.
Red Circle is pretty close, but not exact. Hm... I'll have to look around. -k |

The one seen on books like Runner's Havens is Klavika Medium.
Earlier titles like Cannon Companion was Bronzo. |

With 40K fonts, it's easy enough to miss one.

My wife thought I was crazy. They only put 20 per page so I was flipping through pages for days while she watched tv. she was all "When are you going to give up?" and I was all "WHEN I FIND IT!!"

She only thinks you're crazy, and knows you personally enough to marry you?
Damn man, I knew you were crazy nearly from the first few posts I read from you. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/nyahnyah.gif) |
