I'm still in, perhaps Kagetenshi's laptop is still in the shop?
He needs a new Deckmeister. ;) |

I got my laptop back recently, but I decided to wait on restarting the game until I was finished dashing to and fro across the Northeast US. Expect things to start soon.

I was just reading over the IC thread again... is there anything in particular you're all waiting for me for? At this point I'd normally post a bit more filler description of the area while waiting for player actions, but since I've been out of the loop for so long I thought I'd ask if I was missing anything first.

Kara was waiting for the team's arrival, while trying to get a feel for the crowd and a handle on how the hostage takers were defending the place.

Unless you've got some way to be seeing into the building (windows all tinted as is the fashion), you have no feel for the defenses. Crowd seems like normal gawkers.

In the time she's been there, has there been any interplay between the negotiators and the hostage takers?

That depends on you people. I'm still waiting for an action and very tempted to declare that night has fallen while you sat around outside the building for eight hours.

I just got promoted at work (yay!), which means that I'm going to start becoming much busier and won't have as much time to game (boo!). Unfortunately, I'm going to have to drop from this game. Feel free to NPC my character until he/she can be removed cleanly or keep using them as an NPC as long as you like. I'm sorry to do this, but life calls...

Short answer: nothing particular jumps out at you from the top floor.
Long answer will wait until my last final ends, which is tomorrow at 9:00 PM EST or so. ~J |

How many floors is this building again? Also, Bearclaw, does Hans have his own close combat skill for use in astral combat, or does he use sorcery to substitute?

Unless I stated otherwise earlier, it's five floors high. Perception for the fourth floor?
