Would you have any way of knowing about basement levels? (Pardon my disorganization)

Hans uses his sorcery skill. It's much better than his combat skills.
PS, so are we really going again? I hope so :D |

Okay, that's cool, I have unarmed 6. Kage, I put all 14 of my dice into spell defense to protect me and Hans. Bear, if we get in a fight, you hang back and fling spells, and I'll go for melee combat.

Just occured to me that they might have some way of using the awakened plant as an astral alarm. I move back to the fifth floor and assense it.
Intelligence: 1 1 2 3 4 5 Aura Reading: 1 1 2 3 4 4 Three successes. I use my talismongering knowledge skill of 6 to identify the plant: 2 3 3 5 5 5 |

Alright, I descend to the third floor. Perception: 1 1 2 2 4 9 If the plant is dual-natured, does that mean it is astrally perceiving?

To the extent that plants perceive, yes.

Okay, I'm fairly certain that the plant is just an expensive office decoration, and not a makeshift astral alarm system. Maybe I'll "confiscate" it after me subdue the hostage takers.
I count the people in the room, and how many of them are armed. |

You count ten people in the room. Do you have any way of assessing armament level?

Other than looking to see if they have guns in their hands or visible holstered or slung over their shoulders, no.

Two of them have what seem to be either shotguns or assault rifles slung over their shoulders; there's another similar weapon leaning against the wall nearby. Other than that, you can't tell without further inspection.

I’d actually been thinking about resurrecting this one. I’d be willing if others were up for it.

No clue, but I've become slightly more… er… consistent since it died.

I would be up for it, but I don't think it's going to happen. Odds are heavily against getting everyone back. You could try restarting the campaign with whoever is left, and add a couple new faces, though. I would be up for that.
