My character had only 10 =Y= left when I was done. I couldn't figure out what else to buy, so he has 1 =Y= in his pocket.

BGMFH, I noticed an error on my character sheet. The final Spell Pool tally for Biomage should be 5, not 6.

QUOTE (TheOneRonin)
So Shadow, what's the skinny on your character?

What kind of info where you looking for?

She's six feet tall and an elf. Goes by the handle Raven. She has black hair and dark blue eyes. She is athletic and good looking, but she seems to not realize it. She is somewhat easy to anger, a little haunted and very driven. She doesn't make friends easily, and the ones she has she has a hard time keeping. In classes she is labeled as the 'weird' girl. In her sport, Biathlon, she is the best at UW. Unfortunately, she did not make the 62 Olympics ans she has serious doubts if she will even try for the '66. She likes the money and adventure of shadowrunning. She enjoys her role as the Longriffle, and as the back up Sam of any team she is on.

She is unlikely to form personal relationships with her co-workers, though Issy may be an exception. Raven likes to keep her worlds separate. At school, she just wants to be at school. At work, she just wants to be at work and not think about anything else. If you have been to her home it is most likely her safe house she keeps south of Westlake center.

Emotionally she seems cold and distant. If there was a guy she was interested no one would ever know it, least of all her. The few emotions she seems capable of expressing are anger and bitterness. Oh yeah, don't get on her bad side, she has a mean temper.

That's about all I can think of for now, hope this is what you were looking for, if not let me know.

Cool like it loads, ahh everyone wants to be Issy's friend, which is cool!
Seems like i might be the Face, Stealth/ Intrusion person, And maybe (if i can find the right balance of equipment, looking dodgy at minute) The Electronic warfair person as well... Any more hats? :D

Well I said maybe. If Raven interacted with her at school she would be forced to form a relationship. More than likely she would just wave or something.

Raven is definitely not the person to be the face, she has somewhat of a bad reputation because of her temper. She clocked a johnson who made an inappropriate gesture to her.

Having said that, she can get her hands on legal ammo and guns pretty easy. Let her know if you need any.

Hehe...not only does Raven make a great "Face", but she can be the team's expert at sarcasm. :grinbig:

So she's a bit anti-social...does she at least play well with others? Is she going to be a reliable part of the team? Does she take orders well, or does she hate being told what to do?

If she's a crack-shot and backup sammy, she'll probably be working really closely with Evan. He's easy to get along with, but has no problem keeping things strictly business.

So we have another 6' tall girl...jeeze, if I wasn't playing a 6'5" Ork, I'd have a severe size complex. :spin:

BTW, my sammy is Evan Wolniczeck, or just "Wall" for those who can't pronounce his last name. He's a Ork, but has the human looking edge...he's a bit taller than the average Ork and looks like he weighs about 320+ lbs. He's got a sharp chin and nose, VERY faint asian features, and when he gets pissed off, he starts cursing in Russian.

Well, I'm not sure what BGMFH meant when he said not to spill the beans. He may not want us talking too much about things yet.

I think the GM was talking about the info that he PMed everyone who had already submitted new characters. He doesn't want us giving THAT info away to anyone who hasn't sumbitted a character yet.

As for us talking about our characters, the GM already said he was fine with us knowing each other, at least on a professional basis. If we get the intro's out of the way here, we won't have to waste time on that in the IC thread. In fact, once we get the whole team figured out, we can start coming up with some SOP stuff...and a team always works better if everyone in it knows what everyone else is good at.

Hehe...actually trapper, that's EXACTLY the sort of character we need. That would take the surveillance/rigging/EW stuff off of the shoulders of Shockwave's character. If you've read through this whole thread, then you know how to build your character. Put her together and send her to the gm (BGMFH).

I'm still too much of a noob to properly create a character.

I will flesh her out a but and post for suggestions.

OBTW - fairly new to Shadowrun - but been doin the D&D/RPGA stuff for years and pushin the pg13 thing to the limits ;) Thats kinda why I'm here.

so far
BODY 1
QUICKNESS 6
STRENGTH 2
INTELLIGENCE 6
CHRISMA 3 Body / hair from back looks like a 5 - BUT you see the face and say NEVERMIND (2) - personality not much better (2) :D
WILLPOWER 6

skills:
computer 6
electronics 6
drive car 6
computer b/r 6
electronics b/r 6
gunnery 6
pistol 4

I will use NSRCG to make my character - but I need to know what books I need
(I want to keep this character legal for Shadowrun Missions - so I don't need to remember 2 sets of rules - and I will play more or less the same character)

I plan to learn one type - then expand out a bit.

She's a pro. She works with other fine.

QUOTE

Again, she's a pro. She will do what the team requires. She has no problem being told what to do. She has not had the pleasure of having a jackass tell her what to do yet.

She is a crack shot.

My character is balanced as a healer and a combat mage. He is antisocial as well. Acid Stream and Physical Mask are spells I threw in for fun :). He knows Biotech and Heal 5, so if you get wounded, he can help, provided he isn't mad at you. Got an ammo shop in his house too. ARGH!! THAT'S what I could have spent my last 10 =Y= on!

Biomage is a male Amerindian human. He is approximately 6’6” tall and weighs 201 lbs (2m, 91kg). He is tall and skinny. His head is shaved clean. He has brown eyes and tanned skin. His hair would be black if he let it grow. He tends to stand somewhat stooped, and he is a snappy dresser; he always wears expensive and professional clothing, even when he isn’t working. Biomage has large burn scars on his torso. His right arm is an obvious fully cybered replacement. Someone meeting him for the first time might think he has a problem, since his expression is usually serious.

Biomage’s personality has changed since his accident. He doesn’t care about the rules or about what is necessarily right or wrong. Everyone makes their own rules in his view; the megacorps, the street gangs, Lonestar… All that matters is who comes out on top in the end. He does whatever he thinks will work best in each situation, regardless of whether it might run contrary to the code of ethics he was raised with or what is generally acceptable behavior.

Jeeze...is nobody in Shadowrun under 6' tall (besides dwarves)???

Hehe..I suppose it's all good...yeah, 6'6" and 200lbs is DAMN skinny for a human. Well, at least we will all be pretty intimidating.

So we have our mage angle covered...good. Looks like we have most of what we need.

So GM, do you have an ETA for when the game is going to actually start?

Well that is funny, I made Raven 6' so that she would stand out. It ads to her separation, both emotional and physical from her peers. It is one more thing that pushes her away from people. Really, how many 6' women do you know who aren't sticks? Not many. I work at a college and I know one girl who is 6' period, and she is a stick.

Maybe that's why she likes running with you guys, everyone is bigger than her :)

Ghost Dragon is more combat than healer in my opinion. Biomage is even more antisocial.

Thats cool, sounds like you would cramp Issy's style anyhow :P

So am i the face? granted i've the edges but the skills are only 4. And being new to the town, i can't have her knowing half the population can i?

And have we got a E/W expert? cos with out the vehicle i can't seem to get it work and it's bend the concept a little out of shape to say the least.

Shockwave, dont bend, you might break. I'll provide an NPC rigger.

His name is Hanz, and has been known to kill if asked about his cooking skills, or his meatballs.
