Ok, here's what's up. I'm starting a new SR4.5 game, and one girl (who's never played anything but Exalted) wants to play her demonic mega-seduction adept from that game. I figure a pornomancer is exactly what she's wanting. Trouble is, the typical pornomancer build has way too many conditional benefits to keep track of. I need something that a new player can easily calculate on the fly. I have some ideas, but because I can deal with the situational modifiers easily, my perspective of what's easy is skewed.
So, here's what I'm looking for:
I don't need a full build, just general directions I should go. What say you, Dumpshock? |

Surged dryad adept with
Charisma 10[Metegenic Improvement (Charisma) + Genetic Optimization (Charisma)] Social skill of choice (spec) 6 Tailored Pheromones 3 Vocal Range Enhancer Improved Social Ability of choice 3 Kinesics 3 Rating 6 emotitoy Mentor spirit(seductress for con or moon maiden for negotiation) That's what i have left after making the pool less situational, you can still ditch somethink and still be in 30+ dice. |

Maybe a Mystic Adept with a "Improved Charisma" sustaining focus?
A Custom Look Holdout pistol for those Intimidation tests. If her Physical Attributes are going to be low, she might want to look into a custom cyberarm. For the cyber spurs and what not. |

I would drop the genetic optimization from Max's list, so she will only have 0.70 points of bioware, leaving 0.30 points left for 0.60 points of cyberware (halved for being the lower amount of Essence loss) - get cybereyes II (for a smartlink, and to run rating: 6 empathy software - which I would get instead of the emotitoy), and a cyberspur (which you might also want to make into a rating: 2 weapon focus).
For combat, an Agility: 4 and skills of 4 plus specializations will give her 10 dice, and the options above (smartlink, weapon focus) will raise it to 12. |

@Fortinbras
QUOTE Maybe a Mystic Adept with a "Improved Charisma" sustaining focus? Thats very hard to pull of. If you just have a charisma of 5 you would need a Force 5 sustaining foci. (If you just get into a BC of 1, the spell would be down) Thats quite a bad option. |

I've used a seducer or siren shaman along those lines.
Of course this was sort of coverted in Jim Butcher's Death Masks when there are mysterious deaths on the set of a porn flick. The resolution alone sounds darn funny [ Spoiler ]

I think 'sane' is the wrong word here. Maybe 'simplified'? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I think 'sane' is the wrong word here. Maybe 'simplified'? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Sane is relative. When we're talking troll street samurai with custom bow, we've crossed into over-the-top territory. Which doesn't bother me in the slightest-- if everything is over-the-top, then you don't mind it when things are powerful. Compared to everything else, a low-degree pornomancer is sane.
