There is something true bloody smelling on that story. I like your story (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Thanks.

You know, I think the key to coming up with SR characters is alienation. Any decent cyberpunk character is alienated from his or her social or physical surroundings in some manner, and once you've figured out how that is, you've got most of your backstory right there. In this case, it's that she's neither really human nor really a wilderness creature, she's aging way past her siblings and friends of youth, and she's unable to find legitimate work without being asked to value a large, amorphous organization over those she sees as her pack. That's something that can be worked with, you know?

8-8/6 Job. Tiny apartment. Simsense to dull the feelings. And a little something extra to go along with the Nutrasoy.

Yep, well adjusted. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/nyahnyah.gif)

There's two other possibilities: an over-sized ego and sense of entitlement, and sufficient ambition. Running will tend to alienate the person from their peers eventually, so any vehicle that will lead to that alienation will work.
