About now I don't know that I am pleased to be an expert on magical threats (4 successes)

My current guess is Shedim, or maybe more virulent Insect Spirits.

Sadly I think I will have to get a bit closer, but maybe now is the time to take precautions. If they look like spirits I will have done a spirit zapper spell, if they look weird I will cast mana barrier...

I'm thinking Shedim. I imagine Insect Spirits actually smell really weird and would be pretty noticeable.

Map updated with the bus wreck - it's not far outside Stillwater...I think you can divert north but it will mean some off road for a bit (no trouble for the convoy)

As I have the skill magical threats at 6 I ought to be able to come up with fighting tips...

Well you're pretty sure they are Shedim - spirits that possess corpses. You are an expert on possession - what would defeat you? With that roll feel free to look up their powers in SM and determine a course of action (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I can't remember what book shedim first turned up in...YotC? If anyone can remind us then that would be a good place to look too

There are three shedim coming out of the fire that don’t seem to be much affected (other than being pissed off!). One is chasing the hotspur and the other two are headed towards the convoy. You should be able to outdistance them if you want to save on ammo?!?

I won’t count this little air strike as an Event as its story driven at the moment...don’t worry I’ll let you know when they will start to count (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ork.gif)

I'm presuming there's no way the Shedim chasing us can actually catch us, so Joey and Feral are watching out to make sure our rocket display didn't attract any attention. Let me know if I should make a perception roll or if the Shedim starts doing something weird besides pointlessly chasing us.

SlaughterSpiritTM Force 7, for 4, 3 and 4 successes (I forgot that I was maintaining a spell, so I have to knock 2 off the end) I'm hoping that they don't counterspell, but there you go.
My drain: damage 5 for each. Well that was lucky 7, 3, and 5, with the good old platelet factories, that's only 1 more physical damage. Hardly worth worrying about!

Yes, welcome back, hope you had a good break!

Don't worry, not all that much has happened IC...just flick through the thread and come up with some waffle about why you're a bit late (discussing tactics with Sandman perhaps?) and take over from Sticks...or put him in charge if you like (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ork.gif)

OoC have a read through the character gen thing in the first post and decide if you want to tweak your character a bit. Don't forget you have all the karma and cash rewards from Emerging Conflict to play with too!
