You did, but i thuoght Aria said there were 2 coming towards us, and 1 going towards Racoon? Yep, and Gash did indeed fry these babies...and in so doing they perhaps called for help... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ork.gif) IC later today hopefully! |

Yes, welcome back, hope you had a good break! Don't worry, not all that much has happened IC...just flick through the thread and come up with some waffle about why you're a bit late (discussing tactics with Sandman perhaps?) and take over from Sticks...or put him in charge if you like (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ork.gif) OoC have a read through the character gen thing in the first post and decide if you want to tweak your character a bit. Don't forget you have all the karma and cash rewards from Emerging Conflict to play with too! Ok, cool. Been a bit busy since I got back but I'll get this done ASAP so I can jump in |

Joey Observes the gangers in Detail, then Takes Aim at the lead rider. Unless Sticks gives some sort of order to the convoy, they're gonna run back to the convoy in about two Combat Turns, with Joey firing at the gangers the whole way back.

A barret is a tad hard to use being bounced up and down in a vehicle but as long as you don't try and use the scope (and -3 for shooting from a moving vehicle) there will be no other penalties (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) |

We seem to be lacking momentum compared with the Conflict game at this stage...any suggestions welcomed but I'll try and skip through this journey bit and get to the real events of the game.
Given that pbp tends to be much slower than face to face I think there's probably not time for digressions en-route (although feel free to disagree!) I'll try and write an epic journey post with intervals for you to influence events before we get to Fox Island... The gangers aren't a significant threat so we can probably do without lots of combat devoted to squashing them! |

Well I was crazy busy smashing monsters in COH with double xp weekend, which sadly has come to an end! (I think my excuse is more interesting, but less useful) So while I am still suffering from sleep deprivation, I'll be posting frantically soon.
OK Well those are a few unpleasant stun balls. Force 5. Successes 5, 6, 2, 4. Given the way the numbers worked out I should have gone for the force 7, but hey. [ Spoiler ] I'll be yelling medic! again |

@Aria lol. Good GMing. I felt put in my place by the circle. Wasn't trying to put you in your place...if we'd played out this scene then you'd have had to do exactly what you were doing...but given how slow pbp can be I think needless encounters that don't do much for the story can certainly be glossed over. It was never meant to be a significant threat - I'm saving those for later (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ork.gif) |

Things have lagged here...do you guys want to continue? I'll run it as long as there at least 2 of you who want to keep it going! I've still got plenty of ideas up my sleeve, but also a few other game themes rattling around in my twisted mind that might be an alternative if this game isn't up to expectations. Thoughts / comments appreciated

Please keep going!
Things have lagged on almost all games: I blame the summer holidays that are almost over. |

Real life has been busy. Though I am sad we seem to have lost everyone but me and Seth, again.

Well that's because we are hard core!
Suggestion for you Aria: Work is crazy hard for you at the moment. Do a little more 2072 (which by the way Alyena and I are enjoying), then ressurect this thread in a few weeks when work is less crazy. I think the idea is cool, and I suspect that I unconsciously copied it in Shadow's Dawn. Given that "you always GM the games you want to play in", I am quite keen to give this a try (even if Gash is grumpy)! |

I'll try for a ticking over IC post by the end of the week so that things don't disappear entirely and then perhaps a recruitment burst once things are more settled.
I also need to catch up on 2072 and Shadows Dawn so plenty to keep me occupied (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) |

OK even if they don't know what is going on, I suspect that they will be aware of the manifestations of what is going on!

@Sabs
That was a long weekend indeed! OK Sabs, Looks like its you and me against the incoming horde from a metaplane. I'm having a general astral peer: 3 successes I'm interested in:
What can I tell about:
In addition I have the skill magical threats. As Nanny Ogg said to the demon "What the heck is going on": 5 successes. Good time for a critical! Well invisible castle didn't hate me today! |
