Yeah, but those are measured in moles.
Now, if you say they worth their amount of electrons in mole, then yeah, it could be a lot of money.

Making mountains out of mole hills?

I would just like to give a quick thank you to AH for the file.

And that mole pun really hurt my brain. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Yeah, Logan's site is still around. Hideously out of date, but still around. (Hell, I just saw he had an email link for me taht went to my old Echostation account! I haven't had that email in... 12? 13 years?). I'll likely see him at Origins next week. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Uh, AncientHistory, frankly, I found the files to be incredibly useful, especially since it contained some of the metaknowledge I couldn't find in the books.
Would you object if I host it somewhere like here?

Doesn't ring a bell here either. Though I have a lot of old junk stuck on a CD somewhere.

It must be from the early to mid-90s. back when CD burners were prohibitively expensive. Because once I figured that out I didn't print out every interesting website anymore.

Oh my god, I haven't looked at these things in at least a decade ... it's pretty much half the old SR webring.

To be quite fair, I disliked the young'uns back in the hey in the oldsourcebooks, too. And the kiddie characters.

But damn ... there're no ressources on the web for games like back in the day anymore.

Hey! I just recently recommended using the Ancient Files in my treatise on facilitated search in Shadowrun sources. I even used "Immortals.htm" and "VR2.htm" in an example. And now, they are gone...

Alas, in any divorce some porcelain gets broken, but thank you, Mr. History, for saving a photo album for the children. Between the archived file and the first mirror of devotion, future generations are sure to profit from your work, ancient history as it may now seem to you. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I had a burner back in 95 or 96. Employee discounts were pretty good back in the day at Creative Labs.

For those who hate RapidShare (and who doesn't), I've thrown a copy of this archive onto Thor. If this is a problem, I can take it down.

I was going to put up a pithy Hunter S. Thompson quote in here when I read this this morning, but I thought better of it. Not really called for, I guess.

What I am going to say is that I'm disappointed that the Files are gone. I've directed many a newbie Shadowrun GM to 'em to give them a good reference for their own games. Hell, I called on 'em all the time for when I prepped and when I ran.

Still, thanks and everything AH. The folks I directed your site's way always had good things to say about it.

RapidShare appears to be a pay-only site. Is there some way I can get a hold of the AF download without having to shell out a continuing subsciption fee to this site? Could I talk someone into e-mailing me a copy they've downloaded?

Thank You
