You know what I'd like? Something akin to the fingertip compartment, filled with some liquid memory flexsteel that seeps out via DNI command and solidifies as a blade.

cybersquirt + internal reservoir + penile implant. A perfect combination for the pornomancer who would like to drug his quarry. Alternately, penile implant + cyberspur for those who really want to reenact that disturbing scene from the movie Seven.

Alternately, penile implant + cyberspur for those who really want to reenact that disturbing scene from the movie Seven. Unfortunately, Penile Implant only has a capacity of [1], rendering it unsuitable for any cyberweapon. Unless, of course, you allowed the application of the bulk rules for cyberlimbs for Penile implants. On second thought, maybe we don't want to go down that road... |

Like to see some kind of capacitance discharge for shocking people. You build up static all day, then let it go against a target. If you need to reload for lack of a better term, be able to stick your finger in a wall socket.

We've got Hand Razors, CyberSpurs, and Wolverine Claws.. do we really need more than that?

If you need to reload for lack of a better term, be able to stick your finger in a wall socket. There's the magnetic system in Augmentation. We've got Hand Razors, CyberSpurs, and Wolverine Claws.. do we really need more than that? We'll, we do need some that don't totally suck. Right now, there's literally no incentive to get any cyberweapons. They're expensive, high availability (the guns), and very easy to detect via ware scanners, which sorta defeats their purpose as stealthy weaponry. |

A reinforced spinal column and a skull plate, so you can line up the perfect headbutt with a running start.
I'd also like to mention how ridiculously verboten cyber-weapons are. I understand there would be legal issues with a concealed blade in an arm, but the minor cost of the weapon pales in comparison to the money you have to spend on being able to switch your arm out at the elbow with your legal arm. Can't my cyber-blade have a "release"command, so I can take the blade out when I want to go to the casino? |

They're only R availability, but yeah, the whole 'lethal concealed weapon' thing is an issue. It would be interesting if they were somehow removable or 'lockable', apart from wearing Doomsday-style gauntlet cyber restraints.

Cyber Swiss knife. Handy set of pop-out tools at your disposal, looks fairly innocuous, and has a decent implanted knife somewhere in there. The Underground RPG had the swiss army finger. The deluxe version included servo motors so that the blades would open on their own, and the little corkscrew would spin around... They also had exploding prosthetic hands that could be pulled off and lobbed like a grenade - or buy it with the fore-arm attachment that lobs it for you. |

If the Dwarf you're throwing at the enemy has cybernetics, does that count?

Implant weapons are problematic.. you can frisk a guy and take away his gun before showing him in to speak to Mr. Mob Boss, but making a guy with implant weapons "safe" to see Mr. Mister is very difficult.
Do we have clever solutions for that? |

Honestly, why does anyone even meet face to face at all? It's too dangerous no matter who you are, and not necessary.

Autoturrets pointed at the guy's head and chest set to go off at the sound of hand razors or a cyberspur ejecting. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/nyahnyah.gif) Do we have clever solutions for that? Considering how lethal some people can be with just their bare hands, the typical defense is distance and a set of guards with wired reflexes and bad attitudes. |

With the minmal voulme held in a fingertip, you won't be able to get more than a pocket knife (at best) - a viable design would have a larger storage installed in the forearm to hold enough material for a combat-capable blade. |

Actually, you can do that. Just get one of those drug glands, and fill it with Immortal Flower. That's pretty inventive way to commit a suicide mate (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) |

I once had a cybersurgeon character, whose GM approved of a medkit-like arm, with most day-to-day required surgery tools worked into the hand. Package included snake fingers, an endoscope, a mini-welder, -chainsaw, and vaccuum pump hooked up to an internal air tank, each with the business ends in their own finger, and the pinky taken by a swiss-army knife-style scalpel/screwdriver/minidrill/needle.
Especially the air tank/vacuum pump allowed for creative usage. Plus the snakefinger toolshed provided him with the proper maniacal mad doctor cackle. |
