i actually asked one of the nice guys from Pegasus Spiele whether or not we'd be getting something like Blut und Spiele for Combat Biking . . Sadly, the answer was a pretty definite no <.< . .

The dark part of me would like to take some satisfaction in Germans not getting something better than the rest of us, but I just can't feel it.
Sorry man. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/frown.gif) |

Thanks buddy.
Wish i could say they are planning on translatingour stuff over to engrish, but no, they are not. Partly because it'd allow CGL to make even more money from their work without them getting more out of it and partly because they are a bit scared what CGL may change in their stuff . . |

I'll toss Bull a note and see if I can't update the list again. *shrugs* It's already been in print, but only to GMs, so it's not like it's really very "canon" at this point -- once he's recovered from the con enough, he might lemme toss in a couple more teams. We can run through another draft if you want, Crit. Take into account experiences and feedback from Gen Con if you like. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Or, just tweak the roster a bit. Me, I imagine the Canadians playing an Urban Brawl variant that involves iced over city blocks and skates. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) Bull |

I talked to Jan a bit at Gen Con about this, actually... I think the biggest stumbling block is money and a translator. We don;t have anyone on this side that knows German well enough to do a full translation of it, and I know CGL is pretty tight with ye old budget these days (For good reason, but it's still frustrating). |

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) Bull We Canadians tend to get a little touchy about being ignored in these sorts of things. I know the reality is that Canada represents only 10% of the North American market, but it still hurts to be forgotten about. I want to thank you guys fir being so willing to accommodate us. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/notworthy.gif) The Igloo Brawl conjured this awesome image in my head. I'll let it percolate some more and see if I can make something cool out of it. If so, I'll post it here. Either that or a nastier version of Ringette (if that's possible). (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rotfl.gif) Do you know if the module is going to be made available for download (paid or otherwise)? This is definitely an adventure I want to get my hands on! |

Actually, I think it might be that Canadians are starting to actually get a bit of a backbone in some ways about our culture and personality.
Probably the generations of hippies and punks that grew up and started getting real jobs... |
