I'd be interested in trying to help, although I have a tendency to bite off more hobby fun than I can handle. I have some skill with graphics, but little actual artistic talent. There isn't much that I can't do with Word and Excel and could probably do advanced page layouts in other publication software if I tried. I don't have much writing skill, but am pretty anal and could probably find text errors that some might miss and often find errors in published materials. However I am a slow reader.

Among other SR related art projects, I've been working on an extensive set of useable (meaning monotone like the dumpshock.com Elmore banner) SR wallpapers for my amusement.

If the principals see a void that i might be able to fill or task that I might bolster, let me know.

Method: I might be able to work an angle into the Black Market column for that stuff.

Mistakil - Appreciate the offer. In order to maintain consistency, I already have the layouts designed and well in hand.

Plan to spend some time with them tomorrow. Tonight however is our table-top night and there is a troll goblin-rock band looking to cause a little lot of mischief.

Did you receive my two vignettes?

The content for Issue #2 is pretty close to finalized.
----------------------------------------------------------
I. Cover: Ronin - Done
II. Table of Contents & Credits - In Progress
III. Dumpshock VPN - Done
1. Introduction - Done
2. Fiction: Duality - Done
3. Hacker's Node - Done
4. Prime Runners
- Ronin - In Progress
5. Alternate Rules for Miniatures - In Progress
6. The Scan: Focus Puyallup Barrens
- 1. Introduction - TBD
- 2. Maps - Done
- 3. Scream Sheet - TBD
- 4. Black Market - TBD
- 5. Points of Interest - TBD
- 6. Gangs - TBD
- 7. Contacts - TBD
7. Fiction: TBD
8. Review of JackPoint's This Old Drone - In Progress
9. Interview with Mission Coordinator - In Progress
10. Dumpshocked - In Progress
11. Last Word - In Progress
------------------------------------------------
That said, I still have the submissions to date and may slip some of those in or save them back for a possible 3rd issue. Squinky is working on some drawings and I have some renders, ads and a new Dumpshock Datahaven VPN interface.

So what exactly am I looking for to complete issue #2?
Fiction, Scream Sheet News, Black Market, Points of Interest, Gangs & Contacts specific to the Puyallup Barrens, Seattle. We also could use more artwork.

What are you going to do with stuff submitted that doesn't make issue #2?
Hold back and try to build up enough material to build a "The Scan" column for elsewhere.

What happens when everything shows done?
Then the issue goes to the proof readers. Once they are done, we publish.

Seems like a lot of work already done? Will it still take until December?
Maybe not. I'd sure like to publish early.

Slow week as I was traveling for work this week so no more sections completed.

Still looking for a good piece of fiction, preferably from the Puyallup Barrens (to fit the theme).

I've pinned a status tracking thread *HERE*

I have a second fiction I am reading today and a second artist is providing one or more pieces of art (Yeah!!). I have several submissions to review that may fit in the "Black Market" column and several other submissions that may work in future issues (should they ever be created).

I am still looking for Puyallup Barrens specific submissions at this time.

RJ: working on the write up for my submission, which is coming along nicely. But I need shadowtalkers and want to use some of our newly Dumpshocked. Any ETA on when you might have a list with profiles?

Ok, I posted the current Dumpshocked Shadow Talkers to the DDH website. If you are a Dumpshocked member who has posted/submitted a profile and I missed you, please let me know. It has been a crazy few weeks.

Do you guys realized the number of smart-asses shadowtalkers in the list. Each conversation will be a small-scale fight (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

It's only a small-scale fight and not an engagement on division scale (IMG:style_emoticons/default/nyahnyah.gif)

But it looks like I was not the only one who was like "hmmm, what's particularly noteworthy about the character's conversation style" and came up with nothing else than how he tends to confront people...

Hey, If this is about Puyallup you should talk to the guy who wrote the Shadow Skool Story.

DDH's second issue has a Puyallup focus, They're looking for fiction and I thought of The Shadow Skool. It was quite simple.

No pressure, I just thought it'd be something to feature, and you were the guy who really solidified it, so I thought I'd see what you thought about using it in some capacity.
