Somehow, I see this as a bad idea. Both in terms of storytelling, and practicality.
Twilight's more useful as a unicorn avatar of the Element of Magic than than as an Alicorn. We've seen that Alicorns can get their asses handed to them by things the Elements can handle. Her suddenly becoming an Alicorn would drive a massive wedge between her and the others; it couldn't not. So unless it winds up Alicorning the Mane Six as a group..... (And if it does, Rarity needs to get her butterfly wings back.) Then that would inevitably result in the Elements of Harmony breaking, if for no other reason than that five of them are mortal and one isn't. |
