How can you get married to a copyrighted character? Twi isn't legally permitted to have opinions or desires beyond what Hasbro tells her to have. The only option I could see would be if the marriage were categorized as parody, but I don't think that would be fair to either partner. Unfortunately, I don't see any other way that marrying a copyrighted fictional pony would be considered 'fair use'.

I think that the legality of the marriage probably flies quite a bit over the head of our letter-writing freakazoid, Nezumi. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Isn't America the country where people can get married to all sorts of things?

You couldn't be more wrong regarding marriage, Stahl. With the exception of a few states and cities (and even those are being tied up in the court system) the only legal marriages are between a single man and a single woman. No same-sex or polyamorous marriages in this free nation, nosiree. It makes baby Jesus cry.

Unless that was sarcasm, at which point I'll be checking the batteries in my sarcasm detector, it's obviously not functioning correctly. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

No, that's what they THINK will happen if Gay Marriage is allowed.

Heh, only if they're 2nd or further, there's still laws against that here. Sadly, I know a couple of marriages that are legal because of that distinction. If you added the two people's IQs together you might crack 100. And I don't even live in the southern U.S.

Anyways, I'll stop derailing the thread. Carry on, shadow bronies.

Of course this does bring up the question that the character Princess Luna has a darker aspect "Nightmare Moon" who was presented in the first season as the result of a god-like being, that was unappreciated and taken for granted.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KOTND_UCoWs (Random lines from Luna and Nightmare)

In Shadowrun would Luna and Nightmare Moon be best played out for magic types as Two aspects of the same Moon Goddess spirit or should they be played as two entirely seperate spirits?

Nightmare Moon would be a Twisted / Toxic version of Luna.

I can't remember if I showed this one to everyone or not so kindly excuse me if I've (as mom likes to say) chewed my cabbage twice, here.

It is a really well-done Fanimation that not only explains a lot about the Bronie culture bit also has surprising voice starrage for a Fan video.
