If they're Technocritter Datadogs, they'll also steal their CommLink info. I see it now. A technomancer based around using adorable techno critters to seduce rich families and while they sleep have all their financial data stolen. Then the criminal puppy slips out the back door at night. The hidden memory in his collar full of pay data. All of this while using his pet store as a front. I'm totally using that as a contact now. |

I don't see the problem. Why would you have to use a special skill for this? Just shoot those damn things or use a knife. Shouldn't be too hard to get through their soft hide.
edit: I just realized that he is a soldier. So he should have some kind of melee combat training. Just stomp 'em. |
