A few people spoke to SSS and I (we were DocWagon) at Gen Con about becoming NPCs for future conventions. How early does planning for summer convention events start, and who should I be speaking to about this? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) We'd like to get started on our improved costumes and props.

We usually have at least a few seconds of planning prior to any event.

It's just as likely for the event to be designed to include your costumed selves. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Probably easier to change the event writing then the costuming in some cases.

Note... Do you really want some of us telling what to wear? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I really meant that we want to build cooler props, perhaps get some wristbands to sell to unsuspecti---I mean very smart customers.

And, no. I know the kind of filth your minds roll in. I never want a dumpshocker in charge of what I wear. XD

That's probably the best decision one could make. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

As for planning, I'd suggest starting with Bull, who has been the J for Missions and convention event planning. Or Aaron, who headed up the Scramble this year. I imagine it's a bit early, since the call for GMs went out around the start of the year for the 2011 con season (Origins/Gen Con).

I'll probably hit up Bull and Aaron at the beginning of 2012, then. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Generally there will be an appeal on here for GM's sometime around April if memory serves.
