Doing a bit of mid-session character advancement here, and the Invisible Way Adept wants to initiate and buy Masking, but she doesn't have Astral Perception yet; it isn't listed as a prereq for the Metamagic, but it seems to make sense that it would be needed. Help?

It's not. You would need to be able to astrally perceive in order to say copy anther's aura, but initiate can learn to change their own aura's traits.
