So it seems like much of the Sixth world makes use of Augmented Reality, and it seems like drones become an increasingly large part of everyone's life. So what sort of social attitudes would be out there towards a person or persons who utilized a large number of non combat orientated "Spy" drones in their day to day life?

John Q. Wageslave loves them, they keep him safe.

John Q. SINless hates them, they prevent him from begging and getting a meal of any type.

John Q. Nutbar wishes he was back in the days of black helicopters and tries to figure out how to make an Improvised EMP Bomb to take them all out at once.

John Q. Shadowrunner just lets the Hacker deal with them.

John D. Uber-Skillz loves them, they let him watch what the spymasters are seeing and can manipulate that data to his enjoyment or professional need. Mostly enjoyment.

If he's a stringer or a live-feeder, it's fine.
If not, he's probably a dangerous pervert. Hopefully, that's why you have your [insert corporate product that's supposed to shield you from them]

This. I think the average wageslave is socialized to think that living in a pervasive security state is the only thing that keeps him safe from the hordes of SINless trog sociopaths waiting just outside the gates of the corp's housing community to murder-rape him. I think most of the time they would barely take note of a spy drone circling overhead or whatnot. Its not necessarily that they don't notice- they are just conditioned not to care.

They would get nervous if for some reason it becomes patently obvious that someone other than a corp security official (like a shadowrunner) is using spy drones to surveil them, but mostly they just don't question it.
