Yeah, but we didn't really design those, and we're not that great at asking them to perform tasks for us. This particular molecular machine isn't particularly useful, no - it's a single-application "device," which only works at profoundly low temperatures - but it's a step toward widespread deployment of nano-machines, and was worth bringing attention to, even if some other organism got there first.
