So we know Chrysler and Nissan merged. So where do you think the rest went? Fiat? GM? Ford? Dodge? Toyota?anything not mentioned. Some is covered in various books-so help me sort out what's where folks and speculate about the fates of the rest!

Going back to the Rigger 3 book, Ares bought out GM in 2059. Ford is still independent and is stated to have several European car makers as subsidiaries through the European Motor Company: Opel, Peugeot, Citroën, Skoda, Jaguar, Range Rover. (Note: IMO Opel as a Ford subsidiary doesn't make much sense. Opel has been a subsidiary of GM since 1929 and is pretty much GM's only presence in the European market.) Rigger 3 also lists Mazda and Kia as Ford brands. Daimler-Benz is a subsidiary of C-N. C-N also took over Toyota in 2060.

According to SoE Renault and FIAT merged and are one of the big Euro-AAs.

All of that is 3rd ed. information. IIRC one of the 4th ed. books stated that SK acquired Volkswagen.

See some of that I knew but after 20 plus years of this game sometimes the information is jumbled around! I'll have some time later tomorrow to start organizing this information! Thanks. So what else folks? Come on speculate! Don't be afraid! Make an ad for Augmented Reality!

There are not som many car companies around, and Rigger 3 and a few other books already gave the rundown.

Ares Macrotechnology owns General Motors, with GMC, Buick, Cadillac, Pontiac brands (Corporate Download, Rigger 3)
Chrysler-Nissan owns Daimler, Chrysler, Nissan, Toyota (Rigger 3, Shadows of Asia)
Eastern Tiger Corporation owns Hyundai (Shadows of Asia)
Ford owns DAF, Jaguar, Kia, Lancia, Mazda, Opel, Peugeot-Citroën, Ranger Rover, Skoda (Germany SB, Rigger 3)
Renault-Fiat owns Dacia, Ferrari, Fiat, Renault (Shadows of Europe)
Saeder-Krupp owns BMW, Volkswagen (Corporate Download, Rigger 3, Corporate Guide)
Wuxing owns SsangYong, renamed ESSY (Corporate Guide)
Honda, Mitsubishi, Saab remain independents (Rigger 3, Shadows of Europe)

The largest RL car companies whose fate is not yet known are Suzuki, AvtoVAZ (Lada) and Chinese and Indian companies you never heard off (though, IRL, Renault already owns 25% of AvtoVAZ).

And Ford may, or may not, be owned by offshore accounts. (One of the Rigger books.).

So Chrysler-Nissan does indeed own Mercedes, Ford own SEAT, S-K owns Porsche and Wuxing owns Daewoo (if whoever owns Chevrolet didn't get them in a package deal).
Anyway, who owns Chevrolet? I'd guess C-N or Wuxing, leaning more towards C-N.

Shadow Talk in the original Riggers BB said that Ford was owned out of the Carib league. I think it was the entry for the Ford Americar, my copy wasl ost recently.
