Hacking in a box
Since the above scenario seems to exist today, how would it evolve in 2070 and what bonuses would one have when one manage to sneak in a box of autohacking INSIDE the perimeter of corporate matrix security. -Would it have to hack the same amount of firewall? -Would it gain bonuses of some kind? -What would a reasonable cost be? In short this would be a disguised stationary drone with a 'hacking' pilot program with additional hacking programs, a few agents etc. Would it be to expensive as a 'drop off and hack' solution? |

As to add something constructive:
-Would it have to hack the same amount of firewall? You would circumvent Chockepoints [UW, p.72] with it, thus only hacking "non-security" nodes. -Would it gain bonuses of some kind? No. -What would a reasonable cost be? Get a "Micro-Tapper Bug" [UW, p.199]. For a superior version, add Gecko Grips, Chameleon Coating and a full mechanical Arm to it. Get a microwave link for communicating in wireless-negated areas. |
