As someone who actually discovered cyberpunk through Shadowrun (which I discovered through That Other Game), I can empathize with the "Shadowrun without the orks" guy. I have read (and enjoyed) Neuromancer, but I did so long after Hookline, my first SR character, had bailed on Horizon and hit the shadows running. ~R~ |

Same here, just back in 89 or whatever. SR led me to Gibson, and others.

I also found myself picking up Neuromancer several years after becoming interested in Shadowrun... So I can sympathize.
