Hello everyone,
I'm also looking for a PbP or online game to join. Last time I played was 2nd Ed way back in 1998-99. I'm willing to learn any of the latest editions so just name it. Just be willing to teach a little bit or at least answer a few questions as I learn everything again. I can post 2 to 3 times a week would be best or a single night a week for a online (face to face) game. Now if anyone is in Wainwright, Alberta, Canada please drop me a line and maybe we can get a group together. Urban Nightmare Living the dream... |

Hi everyone! Looking to join a 4th ed game, I'm willing to try lots of characters but I'm thinking of a combat-oriented one right now, Street Sam or Weapons Specialist most likely, possibly with some Adept stuff.
I can post a couple of times a week. |

Looking to play in a 5e game .... PREFER black trenchcoat but willing to play basically anything 5e ( don't own any 4e books Plus don't want to confuse myself with multiple rule sets). Never played PbP before but I have plenty of time to post during the week. I have made a cat shaman I would like to play, but again, willing to play whatever the group needs if need be. I'm excited about the possibility of actually playing, I'm always railroaded into GMing, so .... Somebody hit me up and I'll start jumping through whatever hoops are necessary. Cheers!

Hello!
Looking for an SR4 game to join (don't have SR5 as yet..); I don't have a specific character pre-generated as yet, I would generate a character on a game by game basis. Ideally, a game that is not extremely fast paced, maybe 2-4 posts per week average, although Id like to think I could ramp up if more were called for. I have a fair amount of experience in shadowrun (4 and earlier), RPGs in general and play by post games as well. I *do* want to let people know in advance that I am a long-time sufferer of anxiety and depression, and it sometimes puts me into a position where I miss out on a post or two. I will do my best to push past that though, and if it gets bad, let the group I am in know what is going on rather than simply vanishing. Thank you! |

I'm a long-time member who's been absent becoming a parent and so forth. Skipped 4th edition entirely and looking to get into a 5e game. Once I'm familiar with the rules I'll probably be looking to GM also, but I'd rather familiarise myself from a players point of view.
So if anyone's looking for a team, let me know! |

Hey, chummers. I'm looking for a 5e PbP game. I'm currently running one and am really interested in exploring the player side of the game. Any type of game is fine, and I'm open to playing most character archtypes, though my preference leans slightly towards Matrix-based characters.
I also have a friend moseying along with an account sometime soon who is also interested in joining a PbP, so if you have a game in mind you can count on two players able to post daily (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) |

Low experience player looking for a PbP game! I have done a few runs back in 4th, but none so far in 5th; I would be comfortable with either. Open to any sort of game (trenchcoat or mohawk), with any sort of posting speed although I would prefer at least a few each week.
I am comfortable playing a variety of roles in any team and I am more than willing to make a new character to fulfill a needed position. That said, I am dying to try out hacking in 5th edition if possible. Hope to be running with someone soon, omae. |

Looking to get into a 5th ed game, open to PbP or other online methods though I'm admittedly rusty. Haven't played in way too long, so hopefully there's some GM out there looking to adopt an old mutt that recalls when the phrase "frakking drek" was harsh in SR lingo (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

As an inexperienced but enthusiastic new Shadowrun player, I'd like to get involved in a 5e game but I'm unsure how to go about it.
I've used HeroLab to create a runner who's something of a medic, someone just starting out in the shadows (hence why he's been created to Street Level rules). |

Brand new to dumpshock. Long time RL RPG gamer/gm with a more recent discovery of SR. Currently playing in two IRL SR 5e games. Id prefer to keep with that rules set. Familiar with chummer and willing to play most character archtypes. I do tend to be a party leader/organizer at times, but this would be my first pbp game. I would hopefully be able to post semi-daily with some days having higher levels of response than others (I sit at a computer for work, but some days a damn busy while others are very slow). I love the gear side of the system, and im still very much learning the setting. id love to play with a group just starting out and be along for a ride to explore the shadows more!

Long-term Shadowrun player dating back to the early ninties; have played in PbP for well over a decade and founded the longest (known) running PbP that's in its fifteenth year.
Would like a 4e, but could learn a 5e game if that's all that's available. Let me know if any of you need another player! Sign-- Wacky |

Been outta the pbp community for a while, looking to get back in. I have several character concepts already prepared, so I ready and able to jump in whenever needed.

A game on PBP has been an ambition of mine for a long while now but I've never actually taken the opportunity to put myself forward for it.
Inspiration is easy so I'm happy to play almost anything and be plastic to the group. Particularly given I'm not certain how much of an asset I could be (Creative writing in general isn't a muscle I've exercised very well.) I'm most familiar with 4th, I've got the most books for 5th. I'm happy for basically any ruleset as well. Anybody got any space? Please and thank you's. Edit: And a weekly/ bi-weekly schedule feels like it would be absolutely manageable. |

Is there any new or on-going pbp campaign this chummer could join?
I'm comfortable playing any team role (some slight knowledge gap on how to play deckers, but I'd be willing to learn that in a pinch) and I consider myself fairly versed in both SR mechanics and lore. And a frequent poster. And amazingly humble.. Boy It's tough selling yourself without coming off like a douche I prefer 3rd and 5th edition games (the ones I have experience with) but I would not say no to other games either. If there is a job opening please PM me. Cheers |

Hoi chummers!
Old hat runner looking for a new team to run with after a hiatus from the shadows. I'm capable of most any roles, but am most experienced with matrix specialization, though also decent with magic (the two systems that are most often complained about being overly complicated). I have the books for all five current editions, but have the most experience with 3E and 4E. If your crew needs another, or you're looking to start a crew, feel free to PM me, as I'm able to be fairly active in posting, at least once or twice a week. |

Yo!
Runners out there. YO! Corporate scumbag maneuvers have stripped my PC, Connor, of an awesome running mate. Connor needs help! Come on. The story telling is awesome, and the title promises deep intrigue and world-class payoffs. Get off the couch, people. What else do you have to do? Risk your lives and get rich. Live fast and die hard. Otherwise ... what's the point? ::: Recruitment Behind the Crown |

Hello, just seeing if there's any interest out there for 4A, which I have some experience with, or 6E which I could make the jump to.
I'm interested in GMing, but could play first as I don't have any experience using this particular forum to play. |

I have several PCs from Dumpshock campaigns that didn't last very long, anything from a street thug turned cybered-up sammie, to an archaeologist in the shadows to clear his name, to a shepherd (with dog) who is one step shy of eco-terrorism, to a mystical drummer. Short on Matrix PCs, though. |

Although afterwords I realized this last page takes you back to 2014. So we'll see chummer. |
