Mainates and Parrots could and do mimick the human voice and other birds songs. But even if they can use memorized human sentence to get treats and reward they definitely doesnt understand language as we did.

Sasquatch are like mainates, they could use sentences they memorize and mimics to trigger specific reactions from their fellow and audience but they dont understand the way language work so they cant deconstruct sentence into elements.
