Say a magician is sustaining a Physical Barrier spell, and an opponent is trying to destroy the barrier. The barrier resists damage with armor X 2 dice. Can the magician who is sustaining the barrier spell add Edge to the barrier's damage resistance roll? I can't find a definitive answer, and I kinda see both sides of a yes/no.

If you know of an answer in RAW, please point me to it.

Nope, you can only spend Edge on your rolls. This is a roll of the barrier. You could however spend Edge on the spellcasting test to increase hits, which increase the armor of the barrier.

I didn't reply the day this thread popped up because of this.
