Like most of us, I like having maps to show my players. Does anyone know a simple way to add a hex grid to an image from google maps?

Take it into powerpoint, overlay a hex grid, save as PDF. THat's how I did it. Was a bit of a PITA cause I had to make the hex grid in powerpoint.

Alternately, get a hex grid printed on a transparent sheet of plastic. Just put whatever map you want to use under it.

If the plastic sheet is of the slightly thicker stiffer type it can even help flatten out the underlying map.
