I am interested in building a character around the concept of a RepoMan, someone that goes and retrieves automobiles that owner has not been making their payments on. It could extend to a general retrieval expert, but the core is auto retrieval. Any ideas out there?

Funny you should say that, we've been doing that ourselves... sort of.
We've recently been baiting a gang by basically rocking up and 'repoing' their vehicles... though possessing is probably more accurate than repossessing. just remember to armour up your truck. (We 'borrowed' our truck from 'Bubba and Co', and I'm more worried about his retribution than the gang's!)

I can't speak for the OP, but for me, the first, always the first. In fact, I'm going to make my fiancee watch that this weekend. I'm sure its one of many great flicks she's never seen.

Can you develop a temporary rig? Something that you smack on a car, and let's you jump in at a hefty penalty?

Yeah, the '84 with Estevez and Harry Dean Stanton. Bizarre characters, Stanton doing what he does best, lots of weird stuff, and great freakin' music.
