Do you want to roleplay through you calling up Athack? Or we can just assume you were successful and move forward with the story as if you guys just met him at the docks. He'll only be super pissy at Mr. White. Regardless, you all still get the 4000nuyen for bringing in Jack.

The missing team members can come talk to Athack about their money whenever they want to. When you get paid per runner, you get paid per runner at the time money is given out.

Delays in posting can always be an issue on forum games. I'm willing to let you intercede if you want to and you can probably smooth over things with Athack considering your prior connection to him. He does want to pick up Jack ASAP though.

He'll setup the meet for one near downtown that actually ends up being pretty close to the McDougal's you're supposed to meet up with Mr. Johnson at.

The meeting with KE goes much smoother. Though some dirty looks and possibly dirty words are exchanged between Athack and Mr. White (that's up to Mr. White).

At the McDougal's restaurant Fiona has woken up enough to at least greet her father who was the true Mr. Johnson for this mission. It is a very happy reunion. While her father is seeing to Fiona's wellbeing, Mac comes over to hand you all the credisticks with your completely payment. He has a big goofy grin on his face. "It's always good to help out an old friend....Thanks for everything you did to get her back."

Everybody gets MacCallister as a Loyalty 1 Connect 5 contact. If you already had him as a contact (which I believe Gardner did) increase his Loyalty by 1 upto a maximum of 4.

After Fiona has fallen asleep in Moreau's arms, he will wave you all closer though he gestures to talk softly. "Thank you. From what little Fi could tell me, it sounds like you really pulled her out of something nasty. I hate to have to ask, but did you recover the stone? The Foundation was hoping to recover it if possible. There would certainly be additional compensation if so."

Still, he owes you one with the Max Duggan thing. So he generously bumps it up to 3500nuyen each.

In addition to the nuyen, you each get 6 Karma, with Mr. White earning an extra point for his repeated attempts at forcing good roleplay out of myself and his character. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

You all also gained +2 Street Cred (+1 for rescuing Fiona and +1 for stopping the fight between the Skraacha and Reality Hackers without excessive bloodshed).

And you gain +1 Notoriety for turning Jack Turner over to Knight Errant.

Yeah. Off-hand do we know what corps the two "rivals" work for? Can't remember if the card Laurent gave us had the company name or not. And Moreau(?) said the Foundation, but nothing more.

Personally, I know who they each work for (it's in the SRM Season 4 contacts list), but not sure my character would.

Group expenditures.

I'm usually of the opinion that money spent out of one characters pocket that benefits the group's mission as a whole should come back out of a group pool. What do you guys think?

TW will transfer the ¥250 to his contact for the info, I'll set up an IC post for it.

As Mr. White describes further that he's heard tell that Pendleton could help find what hotel Fiona might be checked in at, the bellhop shows a little more confidence. "Cost ya 300 for my help."

Gardner hands over the 500 nuyen the kid is looking to get, with a promise of a bonus if he proves to be a good guide.

As you head down the gang plank with this Wilson and TundraWolf in tow, you quickly talk him down from the 1000nuyen price to only 500nuyen. As he quietly takes your money while some crates block you from view of the other pirates, Wilson transmits the coordinates of Jack Turner's house that also acts as his warehouse. He further tells you that something must be going on because Jack has been holed up in there for over a day now.

Mr. White offers no resistance as he's led from the building. However he does offer to the last orc to push him out the door the chance for a little extra nuyen. "Hey chummer - where's the girl - Fiona?" He offers him a credstick.

TW will continue to play the stoic, scorched merc for all of the meetings, though he will note when Fi's father mentions "the Foundation."

But we've just been thrown together, and the mission we're paid to do is over. Some downtime discussion should happen between our characters as to if we want to continue working together, and if so who do we get that can hack that's not gonna vanish in the middle of the 'run.

How much is it going to cost TW to go to his Street Doc contact and see about getting put back to as good a working order as he can ever be? How long will that take, in game time? I want to write a massive IC post to finish this up (even if our IC thread is a little hit-or-miss, it makes me happy to write stories about my imaginary friends) and I need to know timeframes so it hangs together with some amount of verisimilitude.

You're right. I'm not assuming anything. By 'group expenditures' I meant Who spent money that was on behalf of the group? Gardner paid 500 cred, and that wasn't just to get him through. White paid for information relevant to the mission.

I figured we'd take the group total (24,000 nuyen) subtract group expenses (1,600 nuyen), and then split that, so three ways makes 7,466 each.

Just a suggestion.

I believe Laurent mentioned that he was with the Athlantean Foundation. And with that in mind it would be an easy guess to Moreau being part of the Draco Foundation.

After some deliberation, Gardner will speak up. "You said the Foundation would have liked to recover it, would that be the Atlantean Foundation?"

Just a suggestion.

I'm willing to give up 100 nuyen to make it a more even split. I'll hand a 100 nuyen credstick to Mr. White and keep the 2 4k credsticks from the two payouts intact. That brings my total spent to 600, which would leave calling it even between TW and White. If TW gives White 250 that'll be 500 spent for each of the two of them bringing the expenses to 1600 and all square, ya?
