Initiative: 2 hits + 7 = 9 Total

For my first (and only) pass this turn, I will be swinging down myself. (NOT jumping off, don't want to put that much stress on the eaves/building)

1 hit on Acrobatics.

I'm assuming that's a Complex Action. Free action, resume Counterspelling.

btw, Mr. White - feel free to follow us in when you have a chance, or just lay low and out of the way, whatever feels best...

Is your climbing skill better than Acrobatics? I was having TundraWolf roll that for the effect of swinging down with enough force to crash through the window. If you do have a better climb, i'd even let you get the +2 for the right equipment.

With only 1 hit you won't be able to get inside the window (Rappelling down has a threshold of 2 and climbing down and inside would be a similar threshold). I'll say you make it down to the window, but not inside yet.

Yes, my climbing is better (yay higher strength than agility...) I got 3 hits if I can use Climbing.

Cool, you will get inside right behind TundraWolf once it's your turn.

I'll try to put up a map of the room tomorrow so people can see the layout better than i can describe ti.

Just to be clear (and partially so I don't forget), I'm counterspelling on both Tundra Wolf and Fiona.

Ok, no problem. If you use astral perception once you're through the ward you don't see anything other than the ward and the blazing glory of the fire spirit who is currently standing next to Fiona's chair.

Wait, huh? As in Fiona isn't there? Or it's just blocked by the big spirit...

I'm not liking where this is going...

I was just meaning that you didn't see anything else magical with astral perception. You do see Fiona's living aura and the living aura of Jack. Neither of which show as having magical abilities. You'd have to give me an assensing test to tell anything about them. Oh and if you can see through the wall you also will see an ork in the other room moving towards the sound of the breaking window.

Ah, gotcha (phew!).

Sadly I don't have actions left to warn TW, nor extra IP's because I had to drop my Increase Reflexes spell so I didn't have to push through the ward...

Was the Fire spirit already Materialized? or is that just to let us know we have multiple incoming guests.

Lets get this party moving (IMG:style_emoticons/default/grinbig.gif)

Technically it was supposed to be already materialized, but i'm letting it currently be in astral space so it's first complex action will be used up materialzing to give Tundra Wolf a chance.

Initiative 10 = 4 hits. Initiative 14, 3 IPs.

I knew I should have taken a magazine of SnS for the AK. Oh, well. Suppose I can just shoot Jack in the knee if necessary.

OK then. Initiative order is:
Fire spirit
tundraWolf
Ork in living room
jack
Gardner

We'll ignore th orks downstairs and Mr. White for now because he's just trying to distract them and the security door at the top of the stairs is locked from this side and they don't have the key.

Fire Spirit follows it's standing orders to attack any intruders. Soooo it spends is first pass materializing and moving to attack TundraWolf next pass.

What's TundraWolf doing?

Don't suppose there's a fire hose or extinguisher in the room, Slacker?

There might be one under the sink in the other room, but I don't know of anybody that keeps a fire extinguisher in their bedroom.

I've had an extinguisher in my bedroom before, and some warehouses have fire hoses in weird places. Just thought I'd ask, because I'm trying to figure out what to do about a Force 6+ fire elemental coming after me that doesn't involve being made extra crispy. ItNW is a bitch without SnS.

Well, hopefully the presence of Gardner shortly will distract the spirit. I'm working on the a map to post now so you can get a better idea of the layout. Right now you are standing in an open space by the window with his bed to your right, a dresser against the wall to your left. Fiona in a chair 3 or 4 meters straight ahead. All together the room is about 7 meters wide by 9 meters long.

Yeah, if this goes south shortly, well, it was fun (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Now lets see how TW and Gardner fare against a fire elemental, an Ork and a smuggler, while Mr. White bangs on the door and hopes they don't actually open it.

Here's a map for the second floor of the building. I'll add a token for Gardner once his turn comes around to show him coming in the window.

Well, as much as I want to say TW would ignore the fire elemental, that's bullshit. It's the bigger threat, unless Jack has an assault cannon in his hands.

Simple Action: Ready Weapon (swing AK up up to shoulder from sling, smartlink online, full-auto still selected)
Free Action: Battle cry in Russian (I'll figure this out for the IC post)
Simple Action: Long, narrow burst at elemental. Hope the dice gods are with me, here.

Agility 7 + Assault Rifles 7 + Smartlink 2 = 6 hits.

Damage is 12P, AP-2 before net hits. Hope I got enough hits to get above the ItNW barrier....

Jack has a Yamaha Pulsar Taser and no other weapon.

The bullets plunge into the spirits firey form and are melted away in the blink of an eye. (metagaming you did overcome the ItNW, but he rolled exceptionally well on his damage resistance roll and only took 2 boxes of damage)

What are you doing with your second Simple Action.

My second action was shooting it. My first simple action was Ready Weapon. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

2 boxes is still 2 boxes. Better than that brick wall of a gang boss from earlier.

Too true.

So the ork guard rushes in and takes two shots at you. Scoring 3 hits on each roll. Oh wow, yeah, we'll just change out the APDS rounds he's supposed to be firing for regular ammo. So the damage is 5P -1AP.

Jack will simply shout "Kill that bastard" as he runs out of the room for some cover and readies his pulsar to fire on anybody that comes through the door.

Then Gardner swings into the room right behind TundraWolf.

And we are back at the top of the Initiative. TundraWolf is sweating from the heat put off by the fire spirit as it tries to slam a fist into him. He must have used up all his luck on his defense though because he only got one hit and very nearly glitched.

Give me all your defense and damage resistance rolls remembering to reduce your pool for each consecutive defense. And then you its your turn. Followed by the ork guard shooting at you again followed by your turn again because you are the only one with 3 IP.

I'll go ahead and roll for the ork guards second IP, though of course it will get modified depending on if you shoot at him or not. He had stepped into the room but when Gardner swings in behind you. He will look scared, step out of the room to shoot at you from the cover of the doorway. He gets one hit on each shot, though the second one is also a glitch so the gun jams on him and will take a complex action to fix. Realizing this he ducks fully behind the cover of the wall when it jams up.

To clarify, is the Ork guard shooting Gardner during that second IP? He seems to freak out a bit at the sight of me, so I wouldn't be surprised. Just need to know if I'm dodging some bullets.
