The Mall is completely vacated as the team make their way through, back to the second floor and the Office. Torch moves into room, stepping around the damaged area of the floor at the entrance. She walks in slowly, visually scanning, but her gaze has a far away look, as if looking through the floor.

He'd seen mages do their thing before, and he knew how to help. Helping meant not getting in their way, and making sure others didn't either. As he made sure to give Torch room to work he felt that familiar twinge, knowing that magic was being done and he wasn't able to be a part of it. It still hurt, after all these years. Working so hard and finding that it was all for nothing - no matter how hard you worked, no matter how much you wanted it...if you didn't have it, you just didn't have it. He was lucky to be alive, sure. But not as alive as he wanted to be.

Torch stops at the damaged entrance way. Looking at the bloody floor she says, "The recent violence is distorting astral space. It is affecting my magic and obscuring my third eye. I do see a number of healing magics were used here." Turning the the team she adds, "I assume triage and first aid was performed here?" Without waiting for an answer, she continues through the bar. The meeting room draws her attention without needing prompting. Stopping at the door she kneels and says, "There was a ward here. The signature is faint and the marking are on the sill."

Stepping into the room, "More magic occurred in here." Standing on the table she looks up through the roof. "Magic made this hole. Perhaps an acid spell or some sort of spirit?"

As the information poured through Mouse's 'link she seriously began to question what the hell she was doing here! Pro runners, military experts, she didn't have any real illusions that she was just a small step above the street rats, hardly a match for these guys...but then everyone has to start somewhere right? And the other members of her new team seemed to know what they were about, hopefully she'd live long enough, with their help, to pick up the pay cheque at the end of all this...

Streaming video begins: A couple of guys in street clothes can be see facing the source of the video recording. There is a boom and the duo, as well as the crowd of people can be seen to duck in response. The back drop appears to be somewhere on the first floor of the Mall. The first looks to the camera, "What the hell was that?"
A voice off-camera can be heard to say, "I think its a raid!"
Yelling and shouting grows from the crowd and there is a wave moving forward. The trio follow the crowd, the first speaker disappearing from sight.
There is a fast forward of the video. Elapsed time shows 108 seconds passed since the explosion.
As the cameraman and his buddy come in sight of one of the exits, the cameraman glances around, catching sight of the crowd from the second floor coming down the stairs, merging with the others exiting the Mall.
The video freezes and zooms in.
Smack can be clearly seen with a body over each shoulder. It appears to be Wilt on his right and Crush on his left.
The video remained zoomed but continues as the photographer begins turning away to look back towards the door. As Smack barrels forward, Hips' head can barely be seen. She is being pulled along by the street sam; a large purple bruise now adorns her face.

Looking at the video, Aeryn wonders what else they had been missing so far. It looks like there was a third party involved in the attack. Someone they did not know anything about, yet.

zion looks and focuses on on the zoomed in portion. if three of his mates were out they would need healing fast especially if hips face was bruised so badly that could mean a concussion or worse and severe head trauma. it was hard to get a proper diagnosis just from a video feed, how ever they were severely wounded and if they were as good as the streets and rumours said they would have some kind of magical healing support available to them, how ever they would still need time to do it and not much time had passed. <@team[Zion]"those are some severe wounds. chances are if they didnt have proper medical equipment readily available they probably had some kind of magical healing if any near by can you mojo slingers search around for that and maybe trace the residual of that if any plus if there are any good street docs around we might want to pay quick visits about weather or not they have had a female with severe facial brusing or concussion treatment and the other two would be unconsious. just from the video its hard to get a good read on what thier wounds would be but just from the video thats all i can tell so far, if big man was carrying all three of them not enough time has passed for proper treatment to have been done for either of the three. as we didnt see the other two members i can say they would probably have atleast some magical and matrix support.as for mr simpson i am sure they wont exaclty be willing to part with the man if they know where he is but might be willing to give us a little more details on the team that hit them and maybe help us catch them and exact a little revenge.">

Several more seconds pass. In AR, raspberries, blue berries, & goose berries fly splattering all over. A jedi knight flies through the area at a nearly incomprehensible speed, his purple light saber deflecting off Papa Smurf's red hat as the tail of it whips around defensively while said smurf is throwing the previously mentioned berries at a blistering pace from a straw basket resting from his left arm. As the berries begin to coat the robes of the jedi, he suddenly stops, looking to the berry juice with alarm before streaking off into the matrix.

Papa sits up, an ear to ear smile in place. "He should have known better. Let's go." The troll jumps to his feet and races towards the door.

Nearby, Torch's growler is cautiously approaching as is Aeryn's Comet. Zion had ridden in with Fly-Boys and Lucky had bummed a ride with some of the Chosen while Mouse' bike is on the other side of the Mall...

The look could be the result of him reliving the past, seeing old ghosts and old faces from his past. Or it could also be from him reading the incoming message on his commlink.

The team raced west for several minutes, fighting the clock. Papa led them to the parking lot of a long abandoned office building. As the team pulls into the parking lot, suppressive gun fire lights up from the entrance way. As the vehicles come sliding to a stop, the figure ducks into the building. Out front, an older Nissan JackRabbit is parked as well as a Ford passenger van with tinted windows.

The parking lot has not been maintained in decades and no less than four small trees have made their way through the concrete. All the lower-level windows were long since busted out. The team's vehicles sit at the far corner of the parking lot, about 50m from the entrance.

Assure them we want to talk things out. We know they probably didn't mean to blow them selves up but if they would like a crack at who did it would be in their interests to help us out"> zoom lets his eyes do the searching pulling out one of his notorious frag grenades and his Ingram he was ready to throw the grenade if he needed to take out one of the vehicles to show they meant business. If they wanted a shoot out papa could always rummage through their coms after they were dead he figured.

Hearing the suppressive gunfire caused Lucky to flinch and draw his Ares Predator, exiting the vehicle at a crouch and motioning for Aeryn to stay put for a moment. He takes up a covered position behind Aeryn's car, adopting a pose that every cop-trid would be proud of.
