Cambridge is opening a center for "terminator studies" in order to investigate the possible threat that the creation of a super-intelligent AI would pose.

Sigh! Have I learned nothing, never trust the press on science... Especially not the daily mail The actual story It's basically three men that started a joint initiative to get the issue recognised and considered for further studies, trying to drum up support for a funded program
