We decided in advance to not bother with HC LK until everyone had a drake, we managed to get pretty much everyone that wanted one (including socials) a drake. Needless to say some people weren't to fond of this and went to raid with 25m guilds while we did that. Only one of those players didn't return when we called for them at 4.0.
We managed to get a kill before cata hit, but only barely (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Only thing I regret missing was tribute to immortality, was occupied IRL on the week we got it, we managed 1 Light, but didn't try 0 lights simply didn't have the raid comp for it. |

I skipped most of WotLK and came back for Cata.
The biggest thing I remember thinking was, "Did people forget how to raid?" People standing in fire/void/hurty zones, people hyper aggroing, DPS screaming at healers to heal them instead of the tank. I dunno. -k |

Oh those things always existed they just became more pronounced with cross-server dungeon finder.

When it was mostly guilds that raided, people like that could easily be weeded out or taught better. Raid Finder lets everybody in.
