Inside the apartment you see an elf covering herself up with a bedsheet and screaming while a fully naked muscular ork looked like he was on his way toward the window before you dove through it. Seeing you're sword he quickly sheds the tough guy act as he reaches out and pulls the elf from the bed towards you. "Take the bitch she ain't that hot."

As you turn back toward the window, a fight ensues behind you as elf changes from screams of fear to screams of outrage as she starts slapping the ork around. "What do you mean 'not that hot'? You son of a bitch! We've been together for 2 years and you just toss me at the guy that shows up with a knife? What dreking bullshit! At least my Ex, Randy, had the balls to protect me. You're just a coward with a big dick...." There's more but I'm sure you get the idea.

The helicopter crash landed not too far away and you can see the Pilot already heading in your direction, though he's being smart and moving from cover to cover as he approaches the apartment building.

That has got to be one hell of a hummer if he's not noticing autofire a few blocks away, followed by a crash. Golf ball, garden hose, yadda yadda yadda.

I'll hold my actions for IP3 until Needle and the other truck get around the corner.

Well, that's why i mentioned the Hello Kitty theme song. They've got the volume pumped up all the way. And they are so concentrated on what they are doing that they are purposefully ignoring any sounds that don't match whatever twisted fantasy they've got going on.

That's fine about holding your actions. Keep in mind, the corner Needle is turning in IP3 is 80m down Maynard Ave. from you. It probably won't be until IP3 of CT 3 that she will actually arrive where you are currently standing.

Neither occupant has noticed you yet.

There are just some writers for it that like to toss in more pink mohawk style to the games. Its an optional scene that and if we were going for a strictly serious game I wouldn't have used it.

Um....Yeah. Cursing out loud to yourself as you stumble the landing outside, really didn't help your stealth check. Even with the Chameleon coating, the pilot spots you and levels his gun to fire on you from cover the next chance he gets. (he got 3 hits on his Perception check)

Seeing as how nobody has said otherwise, I'm going to go with the earlier posted plan of Needle trying that second turn at full speed with her final point of edge as a backup if she doesn't get the hits she needs....

Initial pilot:ground craft tests......she gets only 2 hits out of the 4 she needs for this.

Using up her final point of Edge to reroll, failed dice.....can she get 2 more hits on only 5 dice!?! Well, let's see.....


OH MY GOD. She managed to get 3 more hits! With squealing tires the clown van rockets around the corner going full speed. Inside the van, everybody is tossed around as the van hops up on only two weeks for a second on the verge of crashing, but Needle pulls it back down on all fours hard.

TundraWolf can now see the headlights from the van coming down Maynard Avenue. It's still another 80m or so away, but it's coming fast! The truck following it is still out of view behind a building (it won't make the turn until IP1 of CT3).

Did anybody else have actions they wanted to do before we close out CT2 and start up CT3?

I'm assuming that the lack of any posts means that nobody else had actions they wanted to do in CT2.

So, we are up at the top of initiative for CT3. Silas has been spotted by the helicopter pilot, but I'd allow him to charge forward and reach the guy if that's what he wants to do. Or he can spend his turn trying to hide in some cover instead if he wants to be stealthy.

The driver of the truck decides to slow down for the turn rather than risk a wreck....but even with that he rolls for crap, only getting 1 hit on 11 dice. I guess another car was trying to drive past and he had to jerk the wheel to avoid it. I'll let him use a point of Edge to reroll failures....and even with that he only rolls 1 more hit. That's enough to get him around the corner without a crash, but Needle now is 50+m ahead of him....Which is why one of the passengers has finally gotten tired of just sitting there. He's opened up his window to stick his gun out. He'll be trying to shoot the van once his turn comes around.

The spirit, yeah, the air spirit doesn't have all that much it can do against somebody in a hermetically sealed suit. Guess it will use Accident again on the helicopter pilot. It gets 2 hits. Umm....apparently this guy is so pissed off at the accident with the helicopter that he's in a strict zone of concentration....he just got 7 hits resisting the accident power. So, nothing happens.

TundraWolf can post his actions. You can see the truck following the clown van, but it has just barely made it around the corner. So it's 70-80m away from you currently.

Gardner can also post some actions for this pass if he's thought of something to do.

Well, I had something for IP 2, just wasn't able to get online for shit over the 4th of July holiday. *shrug*

Complex Action: Infiltrate to get down the street closer to the van without the KE seeing me. The plan is to get down the street, then as the clown van rockets past me use it as both auditory and visual cover to shoot at the tires of the pursuing truck.

Agility 7 + Infiltration 3 = 5 hits.

Thats cool. We can say you did that IP3. youd basicall just get across the street in one pass. So you're 10m closer to the truck. So what are you wanting Needle to do? Just keep driving in circles? Or to come to a stop so you can get in and leave?

Stopping would be bad. If I don't blow the tires or the dude successfully makes his Crash test even if I do blow them out, he and his gunner are going to be right on top of her. I'll add a free action to subvocally tell her to keep going, I'm going to shoot the truck as she passes. Let's take care of the current clusterfuck before we make any plans for leaving.

Ok. I'll move forward with just having her turn onto Main St. then.

Speaking of moving forward... I just wanted to double check with you guys. Have I been guilty of trying to push this scene forward too quickly? I know we've lost a couple players and with Gardner and Mr. White not posting much I feel like maybe I might trying to keep the momentum going to much with limited feedback.

If I am pushing ahead too quickly, please do speak up so I know you'd rather have me take it slower.

Actually, at the speed she's going it'll be IP3 of CT3 when she takes the turn, that is if the vans tires don't get shot out first.

Currently we are at IP1 of CT3. Waiting on Silas to post actions against the helicopter pilot.
TundraWolf made it across Main St. without attracting attention on IP3 of CT2, before the truck had turned the corner onto Maynard Ave. He's currently making his way down Maynard Ave. stealthily as the two vehicles come barrelling up the street. If he continues moving in IP1, he will be passed by Needle in the van in IP2.

Um....I'm thinking you will really regret saying I could roll the dice for you....On 19 dice for charging the helicopter pilot... you only got 2 hits!?! :'(

The helicopter pilot easily sidesteps the clumsy swing with his 4 hits.

Following that TundraWolf already posted his infiltration roll to continue down Maynard Ave.

Gardner can still post actions if he comes up with anything he wants to do.

Needle gets 1 hit on trying to make the van go a little bit beyond it's top speed.

Now it's the shooters turn. The helicopter pilot fires a wide burst at Silas... I guess Invisible Castle isn't liking attacks today. He only got 1 hit.
Silas comes close to glitching, but manages to get the one hit he needed. So no damage

Then the pilot fires off another wide burst doing much better this time with 3 hits. Silas again only gets 1 hit. So he needs to roll damage resistance which shouldn't be that bad. Base damage is 5P +2 from net hits and no AP.

Um....yeah...I think i'm going to let us wait until Silas is back if he we need any more rolls from him. Invisible Castle only gave him 2 hits out of 18 dice. So, he takes 5 boxes of stun damage (the DV didn't exceed his armor rating, so it's just stun damage). When Silas gets back he can use Edge if he has any left to reroll the 16 failed dice.

Then there is the guy firing from the truck and trying to hit the van. He doesn't have much of a chance between it being Long Range, him in a moving vehicle, and trying for a called shot to a tire. But he'll use his first simple action to take aim so that he can have a whopping 1 die for his shot. No hits.

TundraWolf is able to notice that the gunfire without any trees to dampen the sound has finally attracted the attention of the two KE officers in the patrol car as the tail that was hanging out of the window starts swinging around wildly as the officer tries to right himself.

Then we are back up at the top for IP2. Like I said, I'm just going to wait for Silas to be around to make any more rolls. I don't feel comfortable making decisions for him with Invisible Castle giving me such shitty rolls for him.

But we can still do the actions on Maynard Ave. The driver of the truck gets 3 hits on his acceleration roll bringing him to just under the speed of the van.

Now TundraWolf can post his actions. The van still hasn't passed your position. At the end of this pass the van will be parallel to your current position though.

Gunfire breaks out, could I get one of my spirits to use concealment on us? I figure it would make it harder for the people chasing us to keep a bead on us. And anyone around is more likely to react to the shooters and not necessarily think about who they're actually shooting at .

hmmm... I guess you could do that if you have your spirit manifest inside the van so that it's not having to try to move to keep up with you guys. That would at least give anybody a negative on their perception tests, though they would only need 1 hit to be able to notice you guys. Just tell me which spirit you are going to have manifest and what their force is.
