Greetings.

I know that I've lost a lot of things in the past (my sanity, perhaps), but I seem to be missing bits and pieces of my SR library. Now, I MAY be completely psycho, or remembering snippets of dreams and all, but I'm relatively certain that I had this information at one point. Any help'd be appreciated.

1.) I seem to recall having a promo page that had the stats for a 'Tir Noble' archetype, along with quotes and all. Anyone remember the promo and/or book that it was for? Anyone care to post the quotes?

2.) If memory serves, there was a bit of Shadowtalk regarding a certain corp's office reality filter. It was decidedly sexist-and the new management changed it to favour the opposite gender. Decker's would hack in for just the download experience. Anyone remember what book that was in? The name of the corp would help greatly.

Or am I just insane...?

2) Is mentioned in various places. 1) SR2, 2) Neo-anarchist's guide to real life, 3) possibly VR 2.0. I don't have my books but I remember that. There's the conversation in VR 2.0 about hacking in just to look at the scuplting. The corp.... not sure at the moment. Check neo-anarachist or VR2.0 for a better scoop.

The Big Knobi Klub used to have the Outcast Tir Noble archetypes, but that's about as official as I can recall (translation: not official at all).

Yep, Google came up with this. Had to use the cache, though, since the original has moved or something.

I just clicked that link. 10 pop-ups later, I'm stuck on one of those porn sites with those special dial-up programs request you to download. :grr:

I just tried it again and I only got the Big Knobi Klub.

Maybe you should look into getting some pop-up killers or something.

OUTCAST TIR NOBLE I
David Altman (izzyux2@mvs.oac.ucla.edu)

COMMENTARY
The Outcast Tir Noble was raised in luxury, trained by the most exclusive instructors in all the skills he would need to become a leader of the Elven Nation. Unfortunately, he associated with people that were on the loosing side of a internal power struggle. His "friends" blithely scapegoated him. Ruined politically and socially he had to become an outcast. He is disenchanted with the Tir, but hopes to regain his rightful place.

Thanks for the prompt response. I'll check VR2.0 and the Neo-Anarchist's Guide. Maybe I'm not crazy after all...

Wouldn't the Tir source book be a good place to look for a Tir noble? I don't recall weather or not there is anything in there, but I can go check if you give me a few minutes.

[EDIT] No dice. The Tir source book has nothing. It is mostly fluff... [/EDIT]

Also, Green Lucifer, a member of the Ancients street gang featured in some older adventures was an exiled Tir noble. Is that what you might be recalling?

Maybe it's because I'm in Germany (it did lead to a German site). Worked fine when I visited it a few minutes ago.
